Jay Carney's Giving People Baghdad Bob Flashbacks

"They're not even [within] 100 miles [of Baghdad]. They are not in any place. They hold no place in Iraq. This is an illusion ... they are trying to sell to the others an illusion." Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf (Baghdad Bob) as American troops entered Baghdad.
Friday's Morning Joe Program provided evidence the mainstream media is beginning to abandon the Administration at least about Benghazi.

Discussing Jay Carney's explanations of the email indicating the Administration politicized its initial Benghazi reports to help the President's reelection, National Journal's Ron Fournier commented that Carney was giving him "Baghdad Bob flashbacks":
Fournier: I agree with Mark. I don't think that's a small thing, I think when you get caught spinning like this, when you get caught being incredible with the information you give to the public, that's a big thing that splashes over into other issues. As someone who has admired Jay and worked with Jay and wants my White House to succeed, it was painful yesterday watching that briefing and get Baghdad Bob flashbacks.
For those who don't remember, Baghdad Bob is the nickname given to Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf an the Minster of Information under Saddam Hussein.

People who think this was unintended are woefully naive. Booting people out of employer-sponsored health care was not an accident. It was deliberate; a feature, not a bug; and the goal of Obama and the other Marxists from the very beginning. It's called socialized medicine.

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. They may be more likely to go to Heaven yet at the same time likelier to make a Hell of earth. This very kindness stings with intolerable insult. To be "cured" against one's will and cured of states which we may not regard as disease is to be put on a level of those who have not yet reached the age of reason or those who never will; to be classed with infants, imbeciles, and domestic animals.” -- C.S. Lewis
To these people... it's for our own good.

These children did not make this decision; their totalitarian socialist teachers taught them to do it. Socialist must be divisive and make everyone a different group with different grievances. They are purposefully divisive and set one group against the other.

I wonder how many Americans have noticed that as soon as the Progressives were able to put the government in control of our healthcare, they immediately moved on to gun control. Now, they are trying to implement "political correctness" -- which is another definition of speech control. God help our young if we cannot turn this country away from these Totalitarian Progressives. Socialism and Communism ensures the road to serfdom and equal poverty (and wealthy political elites and their crony capitalist donors who expect government contracts).
