Surprised? The IRS Claims to Have Lost Over 2 Years of Lerner Emails

This sounds like the Obama equivalent of Nixon's secretary "accidentally" erasing 18 minutes of tape.....This report comes from the Ways and Means Committee website:
Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI) issued the following statement regarding the Internal Revenue Service informing the Committee that they have lost Lois Lerner emails from a period of January 2009 – April 2011. Due to a supposed computer crash, the agency only has Lerner emails to and from other IRS employees during this time frame. The IRS claims it cannot produce emails written only to or from Lerner and outside agencies or groups, such as the White House, Treasury, Department of Justice, FEC, or Democrat offices.

“The fact that I am just learning about this, over a year into the investigation, is completely unacceptable and now calls into question the credibility of the IRS’s response to Congressional inquiries. There needs to be an immediate investigation and forensic audit by Department of Justice as well as the Inspector General.

“Just a short time ago, Commissioner Koskinen promised to produce all Lerner documents. It appears now that was an empty promise. Frankly, these are the critical years of the targeting of conservative groups that could explain who knew what when, and what, if any, coordination there was between agencies. Instead, because of this loss of documents, we are conveniently left to believe that Lois Lerner acted alone. This failure of the IRS requires the White House, which promised to get to the bottom of this, to do an Administration-wide search and production of any emails to or from Lois Lerner. The Administration has repeatedly referred us back to the IRS for production of materials. It is clear that is wholly insufficient when it comes to determining the full scope of the violation of taxpayer rights.”
Perhaps their dog ate the emails, then Obama ate the dog.

Anybody who believes this cockamamie story about a computer crash and missing emails please contact me---I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you!

1. If a criminal claims his hard drive crashed, the FBI can recover all the data for him. The government also pays contractors to extract the data of its crashed hard drives.
2. Networks and computers at companies and in government are backed up in multiple, tandam, cascading arrays. You lose 2 minuets of data...maybe...not 2 years.
3.Both the networks of the IRS, and those of the recipients of the emails, have a record of who sent an email to who and when.
4. The recipents hard drives and probably the internet have the emails stored.

By 2009, it was impossible for anyone other than small organizations that lacked any IT talent to "lose" emails or any computer data like they are saying. It's just a flat out lie, and anyone with even a tangential association with IT systems knows this. They are flat-out lying. Get forensic IT examiners in there, and you'll see what happened.

It'll get thrown out by some judge, and the baker will be required to make the cake.

After the Democratic party lost the House of Reps. in 2010 Obama, the Committee to reelect Obama 2012 and the Democratic party started their attacks against all their enemies using the I.R.S. This scandal goes right into the White House. I hope Obama writes his memoirs in jail.
