If we don’t force him to have peace, we won’t have peace … Netanyahu is not the guy,” the activist told the ex-president. I agree with that,” Bubba clearly replied, apparently unaware his remarks were being recorded. Then he bragged about getting Ehud Barack to give Arafat everything he wanted including Jerusalem.
PRO-PALESTINIAN ACTIVIST: “If we don’t force him to have peace, we won’t have peace.”
CLINTON: First of all, I agree with that. But in 2000, Ehud Barak, I got him to agree to something I’m not sure I would have gotten Rabin to agree to, and Rabin was murdered for giving land to the Palestinians.
ACTIVIST: I agree. But Netanyahu is not the guy.
CLINTON: (after pausing to absorb the remark) I agree with that, but they [the Palestinians] would have gotten 96% of the West Bank, land swaps in Gaza, appropriate water rights and East Jerusalem, something that hasn’t even been discussed since I left office. And by the way, don’t forget, both Arafat and Abbas later said they would take it “we changed our minds, we’ll take it now” but by then the Israeli government wouldn’t give it to them.
Bill Clinton's anti-Bibi comments were in line with his wife's actions as Secretary of State who presided over the foreign policy of the most anti-Israel administration in history. Actually with the possible exception of the time from her first campaign New York’s Senate seat in 2000 to her resignation from the Senate to become Secretary of State in January 2009, except for the time she needed New York’s Jewish voting bloc, Hillary Clinton has never been pro-Israel. It seems that after years of getting rich from Arab money...husband Bill agrees.

Jeff, was pointed here by twitter, and I find your analysis was off the chart.
Bill Clinton here was clearly defending Israel over Hamas and the Palestinians, and as a Jewish Zionist myself, I can see no justification for your complaint that he was bashing Netanyahu. The truth appears to be that Netanyahu for whatever reason truly is not the prime minister to make peace with Hamas. Nothing that is not "bashing"
where did you get Hamas? And saying Bibi is not the man to make peace is not a display of friendship.
Like a planetary system wide spread between "not a display of friendship" and "trashing"
FWIW, I take his defense of Israel as the more important display, and that certainly was a display of friendship.
Based on the size of his estate, Arafat absconded with $28 million PER YEAR for 35 years in the PLO. The new PLO/Hamas leaders? 600 millionaires in Gaza and counting. Where did you actually thing the billions given to them went, to the people of Gaza?
The fact that hamas stated goal is the destruction of Israel so the only way they can make "peace" is to dissolve itself. The left is either too dense to understand or disingenuous to admit it.
No one here is saying that's not true.
I'm assuming you listened repeatedly with headphones, so I'll take your word on it, but the one-time through I heard sounded like he was saying Ehud "got everything he wanted" Clinton's usually pretty cagey about this stuff.
It might be worth getting an audio guy to help remove some of the rumble.
Bibi has balls so he probably isn't the guy to enter into an agreement that will result in the demise of Israel. So maybe slick Willy is on to something! Just sayin!
I see that the Clintons are still trying to sell the fictional "2 state solution". It is by their OWN hand that the so-called Palestinians are suffering, since they forfeited the benefits of living AS ISRAELI CITIZENS, decades ago. People like the Clintons going around sqawking about the "2 state solution" are the REAL APARTHEIDISTS.
Bad goyim! No fiat for you!
*smack*
If you think those mild observations constitute "trashing" someone, you are a very sensitive flower indeed.
Considering what this site has said about President Obama (which has been FAR worse than what was said here about Netanyahu), I guess that means this website is not "pro-America."
Bibi Netanyahu…. is “not the man” to make peace with Palestinians…..
Because Palestinians don’t want (Hamas and other fundamentalist groups) or can’t
(abu Abbas/PLO) do peace.
