British Muslim Activist Praises Paris Attack "May Allah Accept Them in Paradise"

Anjem Choudary is an Islamist activist in Great Britain with a long record of supported terrorist causes he called the 9/11 terrorists "magnificent martyrs" and more recently  Choudary expressed support for ISIS, describing its leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi as "the caliph of all Muslims and the prince of the believers". He also voiced his support for crucifixion.

Last week on January 13th he spoke about the Paris terrorist attacks on the Lebanese Murr TV channel and said that the attack was just because according to Islamic law, whoever insults the Prophet Muhammad should be punished by death. "May Allah accept [the attackers] in Paradise," he added.

Following are excerpts and a video of the interview translated by MEMRI:
Anjem Choudary: You know, we are not Jews and we are not Christians. We don't believe that if you give me the one cheek, I will give you the other. We don't believe in an eye for an eye. We have a unique shari'a. In our shari'a, this is what the Prophet Muhammad said: "Whoever insults the Prophet – kill him." It has capital punishment. Now, the jurisprudence of this is: Who can fulfill this?

Interviewer: Mr. Choudary, where does this appear in your religion? Show me a verse in the Quran saying that whoever insults the Prophet should be killed.

Anjem Choudary: The Prophet himself sent one of his companions to kill Ka'ab bin Ashraf, because he insulted the Prophet. In another narration, a man killed his wife because she insulted the Prophet, and the Prophet said that no "blood money" should be paid. You know, we live peacefully with each other, but you have to respect the honor of the Prophet, who is revered by a quarter of the world's population.

In Paris, you cannot build mosques. In France, you cannot deny the Holocaust. The Muslims are treated as second-class citizens. They banned the burqa. There are people now in court because of poems they wrote about Napoleon.
