Saudi Arabia Building An "Apartheid Wall" Will The World Condemn Them?

Apparently Saudi Arabia has been constructing a 600-mile East-West barrier on its Northern Border with Iraq since September. The purpose of the wall is to keep out ISIS terrorists who have stated that among their goals is an eventual takeover of the Muslim holy cities of Mecca and Medina, both of which are inside the Saudi Kingdom.

When Israel built a wall separating it from areas of the West Bank to keep out Palestinian Terrorist it was condemned across the world. Former President Jimmy Carter named it the Apartheid Wall and described as an imprisonment wall. So far the peanut president has been quiet about the Saudi wall.

The Red Cross has declared the Israeli barrier in violation of the Geneva Convention. On February 18, 2004, The International Committee of the Red Cross stated that the Israeli barrier "causes serious humanitarian and legal problems" and goes "far beyond what is permissible for an occupying power"

In a 2004 ruling by the International Court of Justice, "Israel cannot rely on a right of self-defence or on a state of necessity in order to preclude the wrongfulness of the construction of the wall". The Court asserted that "the construction of the wall, and its associated régime, are contrary to international law.

Saudi Arabia has been building its wall since September and no one has complained. And compared to the Israeli wall Saudi's barrier is the Rolls Royce of walls. Five layers, 600 miles, watch towers, night-vision cameras and radar cameras. Heck if Obama built this on our southern border he would get his immigration bill through.

The Telegraph reports:

The proposal had been discussed since 2006, at the height of the Iraqi civil war, but work began in September last year after ISIL’s charge through much of the west and north of the country gave it a substantial land border with the Kingdom to the south.

It is not the only fence with which Saudi Arabia has chosen to surround itself. Despite the difficulty of access to westerners, the country is relatively open to fellow Muslim nations, particularly during the Haj season when pilgrims from across the world come to Mecca and Medina.
It has also created a physical barrier along parts of the even longer, 1,000-mile border with Yemen to the south.
TWO FENCES!!! What racist, Where's Jimmy Carter or the UN.  Oh wait, it's only bad to build a wall to protect citizens from terrorism, when those being protected are Jews.
