We often criticize President Obama but it would be wrong to report his successes however limited when they occur.
On Tuesday the Senate voted on the budget submitted by President Obama, and his submission received record support in the upper chamber of congress, they voted it down by a vote of 98-1. The only yes vote was Senator Tom Carper (D-DE).
Most years, members of the President's own party considered his budget so lousy they refused to bring his budget to the floor. But the Republicans wanting to make sure the president's ideas had a shot would bring his budget to the floor for their colleagues on the other side of the aisle.
According to Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) including the latest vote three time in the past six the president received one vote for his budget which means this week's vote give Obama a tie for his most successful budget presentation yet.
Congratulations Mr. President, the success of your budget submissions parallel the success of your other programs.
