Trey Gowdy: Hillary Wiped The Mail Server Clean

Not surprising but still frustrating. Apparently tone deaf to the will of the American people, the secretive former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton wiped clean the e-mail server and permanently deleted all the emails it housed. The is the type of do anything to win behavior Ms. Clinton is famous for and reminiscent of her past behavior in the White House when her billing records from the Rose Law firm mysteriously disappeared and then just as strangely reappeared  in the White House living quarters.
Representative Trey Gowdy said Clinton had not provided a single new document and had wiped clean a server she used for emails while she was the top U.S. diplomat.

"We learned today, from her attorney, Secretary Clinton unilaterally decided to wipe her server clean and permanently delete all emails from her personal server," Gowdy, chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, said in a statement.

He said the committee will seek to speak to Clinton, the presumed front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination, about the emails and the server.
Ms. Clinton was under a subpoena order Gowdy's Select Committee on Benghazi for all documents related to the September 11, 2012 attacks.
But David Kendall, an attorney for Clinton, said the 900 pages of emails previously provided to the panel cover its request
Kendall also informed the committee that Clinton’s emails from her time at the State Department have been permanently erased.

“While it is not clear precisely when Secretary Clinton decided to permanently delete all emails from her server, it appears she made the decision after October 28, 2014, when the Department of State for the first time asked the Secretary to return her public record to the Department,” Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), chairman of the committee, said in a statement.
Gowdy added that Clinton’s response to the subpoena means he and Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) will now contemplate new legal actions against Clinton.

“After seeking and receiving a two week extension from the Committee, Secretary Clinton failed to provide a single new document to the subpoena issued by the Committee and refused to provide her private server to the Inspector General for the State Department or any other independent arbiter for analysis,” Gowdy said.

In a letter provided to the committee, Kendall said Clinton would not be turning over the server to a third-party for review and that the emails no longer exit on the private server located in her New York home.
Of course this is another example of the calculating behavior of the former Secretary of State whose "cooperation" with the committee seems a bit insincere. She is totally out-of-touch with America

Once, when we were a bit younger, we dropped out of any interest in politics whatsoever because we felt that all morals, principles, and traditions had been polluted and discarded. Eventually, we came back. If this criminal woman gets by with this, we are done again and this time forever! We're sure no one cares and therein lies the basic problem!

Congress should hold her in contempt.
