NFL Suspends Tom Brady 4 Games For His Soft Balls-Patriots Lose Draft Picks $1,000,000

Wow I cannot argue that New England Patriot quarterback Tom Brady shouldn't have been suspended, after all he is the personification of evil, he's won four Super Bowls and is married to hot model Gisele Bundchen. And we all know the coach of the Patriots is Beelzebub Belichick. Despite that all I am not sure that deflategate should have been his downfall. The investigation said it was more likely than not that he knew about the deflated balls, that does not seem like enough evidence to suspend the guy...but he was...four games, patriots lose a first and fourth round pick, and the team is fined a million dollars.

Sadly the NY Jets don't play the Patriots until game seven.

The Deflategate verdict is in, and there’s nothing under-inflated about it.

The Patriots were sacked with a massive penalty from the NFL late Monday afternoon for their ball-tampering actions in January’s playoffs.

Tom Brady was suspended four games without pay was “conduct detrimental to the integrity of the league.”

The Patriots will lose a first-round pick in 2016 and fourth-rounder in in 2017, plus the team will be fined $1 million.

The report by NFL-hired investigator Ted Wells, released Wednesday, found some of Brady’s claims implausible in explaining why balls were underinflated during the Patriots’ 45-7 win against Indianapolis in the AFC title game.

“I don’t really have any reaction. It has only been 30 hours. I’ve not had much time to digest it,” Brady said last Thursday night in front of a university crowd that broke into frequent applause. “When I do I will be sure to let you know how I feel about it. And everybody else.”

The 243-page report concluded Brady probably knew Patriots employees had a role in deflating footballs.

“It is unlikely that an equipment assistant and a locker room attendant would deflate game balls without Brady’s knowledge and approval,” the report stated.

Brady’s agent, Don Yee, released a statement Thursday saying the report was “a significant and terrible disappointment, which “reached a conclusion first, and then determined so-called facts later.”

New England is scheduled to play its opener against Pittsburgh in the kickoff game of the regular season on Sept. 10.
