Front Page of "The Jewish Star" Before The [Iran] Fall- Reflexive Jewish Support For Dems

One of the Cover stories of this week's Jewish Star is a piece written by me called "Before The Fall:Reflexive Jewish Support for Dems."  It talks about Jewish Organizations failure to be bi-partisan as one of the causes of the Iran deal being on the prescience of victory.

The article is an updated version of a post I did last week, however it focuses the blame squarely where it belongs on the leadership of Major Jewish Organizations, so I thought I would share, oh and because it is almost impossible to cut and post the piece from the newspaper, underneath the title from the paper, I posted the text of the article:

Now that Obama has enough senators that a veto of the anti-Iran deal bill cannot be overturned the postmortems have started, some blame the President, others blame the Democratic Party. I would argue that they are both partially correct but they’re omitting the biggest enabler, the Jewish community itself, especially the “Jewish leadership.” You see thirty years ago James Baker famously said, "F**k the Jews they won't vote for us anyway." But because of a blind loyalty to the Democratic Party by the Jews today Democrats Party politicians act as if their stance is, "F**k the Jews they will vote for us whatever we do!"

In 2008 despite all the warnings, despite the fact that Barack Obama sat in a church listening to anti-Semitic sermons for two decades, despite the fact that he was a close friend with Palestinian Liberation Organization spokesman Rashid Khalid the mainstream media and the Jewish community ignored the warning signs. Even before the election the Jewish community knew about the 2003 event honoring Khalidi, where Obama had made a toast that was so anti-Israel that the liberal L.A. Times hid the tape. Before the 2008 election Obama had already surrounded himself with anti-Semitic and anti-Israel advisers. Ignoring all that, the Jewish community gave Obama 78% of the Jewish vote. The leadership of certain major Jewish organizations despite their phony claims of bi-partisanship had a blind allegiance to the Democratic Party. That allegiance was so strong that when the Democratic Party demanded that V.P. Candidate Sarah Palin's invitation to speak at an anti-Iran rally be rescinded these major Jewish organizations rushed to comply.

During his first term President Obama proved to be the most anti-Israel president since the modern state of Israel was created in 1948. But it shouldn't have been as surprise.

Michael Oren wrote in his book “Ally: My Journey Across the American-Israeli Divide “ that At the very beginning of his administration Obama met with his hand-picked members of Jewish leadership (he included J Street and discarded the ZOA). Obama told that Jewish leadership that one of his goals was to drive a wedge between the US and Israel. “When there is no daylight,” the president told American Jewish leaders in 2009, “Israel just sits on the sidelines and that erodes our credibility with the Arabs.” The explanation ignored Israel’s 2005 withdrawal from Gaza and its two previous offers of Palestinian statehood in Gaza, almost the entire West Bank and half of Jerusalem—both offers rejected by the Palestinians. Those “Jewish leaders” were silent about the inclusion of an anti-Israel group J Street in those meetings, and they were silent about the president’s words about pulling away from Israel. Instead of organizing their membership to protest they began to teach the Democrats they would follow obediently without a complaint.

Obama even foreshadowed the Iran deal during his first months in office. During his 2009 speech in Cairo he said, “No single nation should pick and choose which nations hold nuclear weapons,” which foreshadowed his future negotiations with the rogue Iranian regime. Many heard him say that and warned what it may mean---“Jewish leadership” was silent.

During the his first term Obama continued to surround himself with anti-Israel and anti-Semitic advisers even including Al Sharpton who led two anti-Jewish riots in NYC from the supposed Jewish leadership just smiled and stayed silent.

During his first term when Obama constantly announced anti-Israel policies, not one of these Jewish leaders opened their mouth. Not one of those leaders called on those silent Congressional members of the Democratic Party who claimed to be “supporters of Israel” to criticize this president. Perhaps because of all the support they got from the “Jewish leaders” despite their silence not one of those congressional Democrats complained, empowering Obama to continue his anti-Israel behavior.

Despite an anti-Israel first term as the 2012 election neared, The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the American Jewish Committee in a joint statement asked their fellow Jews to pledge not to criticize Obama's anti-Israel policy. They said it was to keep the issue bi-partisan but it was really because their leadership was very partisan. Under Abe Foxman’s leadership the ADL allowed Obama to run rampant and instead spent time on liberal issues such as late-term abortion, amnesty for illegal immigrants. Another of those supposedly "bi-partisan" leaders Jack Rosen of the American Jewish Congress actually had fundraisers for the president in his home, ignoring his anti-Israel and anti-Semitic stances.

On Obama's direction, the Democrats removed four pro-Israel planks from their party platform in 2012. After this reporter discovered the change and the mainstream media picked up the story the convention tried to add one (Jerusalem as capital of Israel) back. The rank and file Democrats at the convention voted no, but the embarrassed leadership lied and said it was passed (to the boos and catcalls of the convention). The planks about not returning to the 1949 armistice lines, not negotiating with Hamas, and insisting the Palestinian refugees will return to Palestinian territory as opposed to Israel were never put back and our “Jewish leadership” said nothing.

When the USCJ and JTS leaders met with Obama and allowed

When the Jewish DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz kept praising Obama as having a wonderful pro-Israel policy, not one of the supposed “Jewish leaders” said, “Hey we understand you have to support Obama but don't lie about his Israel policy.” After all they had a blind loyalty to the Democratic Party.

With the help from the Jewish leadership, this anti-Semitic, anti-Israel president received 69% of the Jewish vote.

And it continues, when President Obama rushed to condemn Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu for statements taken out of context, the leadership of Conservative Jewry’s Rabbinical Assembly followed up by condemning Netanyahu also despite the fact they admitted they didn’t read Bibi’s statement.

Now Obama has done what he promised back in 2009 when he met with the “Jewish leadership” he drove a wedge between the U.S. and Israel, he's done what he said he would do in Cairo, he created a deal which will allow Iran to get a bomb. He has surrounded himself with anti-Semites and anti-Israel advisers just as he did during his campaign he’s done all of it and nothing but silence from “Jewish leadership.”

Two weeks ago when they interviewed the president for a teleconference seen by Jewish community, the head of he Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations and the head of the Jewish Federation didn't challenge him about the deal. I’m not saying that they should have been rude, but instead of asking specific questions about the side deals, or about the fact that the U.S. is obligated to protect Iran's nuclear plants, or the paragraph which allows Iran to take the money and then leave the deal, or any other specific questions worrisome parts of the deal, these two supposed asked softballs like, "Can the U.S. Israel relationship be repaired?" Or when the president lied during his opening statement, they didn't question him about it. Perhaps they didn't read the agreement, perhaps they were trying to protect the president, but it was just another way the “Jewish leaders” enabled the Democratic party to ignore the Jewish voters.

Now everyone is surprised how so many Democrats chose loyalty to their party over rejecting an obviously lousy Iran deal. Strangely most of them began their expressions of support by listing the all the reasons the deal stinks, but then went ahead by saying here was no better choice. That's the political version of everyone gets a participation trophy, and ignores the foreign policy people in France and Great Britain who have said if Congress kills the deal a better one can be negotiated.

People shouldn't be surprised. By remaining silent about the anti-Israel policies of a president who surrounded himself with anti-Semites, and then publicly supporting the Democratic Party our supposed leaders betrayed the Jewish community (and their vows of bi-partisanship) and at the same time they taught the Democrats they could do anything to the Jews and we will give them our campaign donations and we will give them our votes.

Here's a little secret, the way people vote influence candidates positions. Progressives are not pro-Israel and the Jews don't care so why should the Democrats support Israel? On the Republicans side the reason many GOP candidates are pro-Israel is the evangelical vote that is a major part of their base. But if the very pro-Israel evangelicals ever lose their influence in the party, only then will Jewish issue be truly bi-partisan.... both parties wont care about them.

Obama didn't defeat the "Jewish Lobby” as some have claimed, any influence they ever had was defeated by a blind allegiance to the Democratic Party by our leaders and by Jewish voters. The only way we will ever get it back is first, to start voting for the other party--not blindly, but look at Republican candidates with an open mind.

The other thing the Jewish community has to do is stop financially those Jewish organizations whose leadership blindly supports progressive politics and parties. There are plenty of Jewish charities, Only by moving our money away from Democratic/ progressive organizations masquerading as Jewish ones will we be able to make both parties fight for our support by backing those issues important to the Jewish community. Only then will we be able to prevent the next P5+1 agreement with a country bent on destroying the Jews.

American Jews' Blind Support of The Democratic Party Is Reason For Iran Deal Passing

Now that Obama has enough senators that a veto of the anti-Iran deal bill cannot be overturned the postmortems have started. Some like an IBD Editorial said, "Senate Democrats Favoring Iran Deal Have Blood On Their Hands." My friend Joel Pollak at Breitbart  argued that this proved the anti-Semitic meme that the Jewish-lobby controls foreign policy wasn't true. I would argue that they are both partially correct but are omitting possibly the biggest enabler, the Jewish community itself.

Over thirty years ago Secretary of State James Baker said "F**k the Jews they won't vote for us anyway." But because most American Jews have a blind loyalty to the Democratic Party no matter what, today Democrats Party politicians act as if their stance is "F**k the Jews they will vote for us whatever we do!"

In 2008 despite all the warnings, despite the fact that Barack Obama sat in a church hearing anti-Semitic sermons for two decades, despite the fact that he was close friends with Palestinian Liberation Organization spokesman Rashid Khalidi. Even before the election the Jewish community knew that at a 2003 event honoring Khalidi, Obama had made a toast that was so anti-Israel that the liberal L.A. Times hid the tape. Before the 2008 election Obama had already surrounded himself with anti-Semitic and anti-Israel advisers. Ignoring all that, the Jewish community gave Obama 78% of the Jewish vote. The vote was led by the leadership of certain major Jewish organizations who despite their phony claims of bi-partisanship, have a blind allegiance to the Democratic Party. That allegiance was so strong that when the Democratic Party demanded that V.P. Candidate Sarah Palin's invitation to speak at an anti-Iran rally be rescinded these major Jewish organizations complied.

During his first term President Obama proved to be the most anti-Israel president since the modern state of Israel was created in 1948. But it shouldn't have been as surprise.

At the very beginning of his administration he told Jewish leadership that one of his goals was to drive a wedge between the US and Israel.

Actually, wasn't exactly Jewish leadership, Obama decided to include the leader of the anti-Israel organization J Street in his meeting promoting them to leadership. J Street is a group that had no legitimacy in the Jewish community. At the same time Obama pushed Jewish members of Congress to endorse J Street by lending their name to the organizations first national conference. That first meeting also sent a a different signal to those Jewish leaders Obama also left Mort Klein of the Zionist Organization of America who was usually included in these type of meetings off his list, because unlike the rest of the leadership Mort didn't have blind allegiance to the Democratic Party.

Despite all this, despite telling leaders he was going to drive a wedge, despite the fact he was picking his own version of Jewish leadership, not one of the people who attended the meeting publicly objected, warned the Jewish community.

Obama even foreshadowed the Iran deal during his first months in office. During his 2009 speech in Cairo he said, “No single nation should pick and choose which nations hold nuclear weapons,” which foreshadowed his future negotiations with the rogue Iranian regime.

During the first term Obama continued to surround himself with anti-Israel and anti-Semitic advisers even including Al Sharpton who led two anti-Jewish riots in NYC, without a peep from the supposed Jewish leadership.

During his first term when Obama constantly announced anti-Israel policies, not one of these Jewish leaders opened their mouth. Not one of them called on the silent Democratic Party "supporters of Israel" in congress to criticize this president. Because of that not one of those congressional Democrats complained which enabled even more bad behavior

Despite an anti-Israel first term as the 2012 election neared, The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the American Jewish Committee in a joint statement asked their fellow Jews to pledge not to criticize Obama's anti-Israel policy. They said it was to keep the issue bi-partisan but it was because their leadership was very partisan---supporting progressive issues and the Democratic Party candidate. Another of those supposedly "bi-partisan" leaders Jack Rosen of the American Jewish Congress actually had fundraisers for the president in his home.

On Obama's insistence, the Democrats removed four pro-Israel planks from their party platform in 2012, when they tried to add one (Jerusalem as capital of Israel) back, the convention voted no but the leadership lied and said it was passed. The planks about not returning to the 1949 armistice lines, not negotiating with Hamas, and Palestinian refugees will return to Palestinian territory as opposed to Israel were never put back.

When the Jewish DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz kept praising Obama as having a wonderful pro-Israel policy, not ONE of the supposed Jewish leaders said, hey we understand you gotta support the guy but don't lie about his Israel policy.

Famous Jewish supporters of Israel like Alan Dershowitz and former NYC Mayor Ed Koch who criticized Obama as being anti-Israel during his first term, all of a sudden forgave him as Election Day neared. When I pointed out the hypocrisy to the former Mayor, in true Ed Koch style he told me to "go to hell!" If you knew Ed Koch that was a badge of honor.

With all the help from the Jewish leadership, this anti-Semitic, anti-Israel president received 69% of the Jewish vote.

So now Obama has done what he promised back in 2009 when he met with the "supposed" Jewish leadership, driving a wedge between the U.S. and Israel, he's done what he said he would do in Cairo, he created a deal which will allow Iran to get a bomb. Or when the president lied during his opening statement, they didn't question him about it. Perhaps they didn't read the agreement, perhaps they were trying to protect the president, but it was just another way the Jewish community enabled the Democratic party to ignore the Jewish voters.

And now everyone is surprised how so many Democrats chose loyalty to their party over rejecting an obviously lousy Iran deal. That's the political version of everyone gets a participation trophy, and ignores the foreign policy people in France and Great Britain who have said if Congress kills the deal a better one can be negotiated.

People shouldn't be surprised. By voting Democratic despite the anti-Israel policies, by our supposed leaders supporting the Democratic Party despite their anti-Israel policies (and their vows of bi-partisanship) we taught the Democrats that they could do anything they want to the Jews, or on Jewish issues and we will support them in the next election, we will give them our campaign donations and we will give them our votes.

Here's a little secret, the issues their voters care about influence candidates positions. Progressives are not pro-Israel and the Jews don't care so why should the Democrats support Israel? John Kerry To Appear On Anti-Semite Al Sharpton's Radio Show To Try And Sell Iran Deal

Somehow this makes sense John Kerry is going on Al Sharpton's radio show to try and sell the Iran deal.  After all Sharpton led two anti-Semitic pogroms in New York City, and Kerry is trying to sell a deal that will guarantee Iran will get a nuclear bomb to use against the Jewish State.

Boy oh boy do those Democrats like them Joos or what?

Thirteen "Smidgens" Of Obama's Antisemitism

Some would say it is totally appropriate that President Obama would speak to the Jewish newspaper the Forward, after all the paper began in 1897 as a nonprofit publication affiliated with the Socialist Party of America. So he must have felt comfortable because when speaking to the leftist Jewish newspaper, The Forward President Obama whined that personally hurt by the Antisemitism accusations he has faced since signing the nuclear deal with Iran. “OH, of course,” he said. “And there’s not a smidgen of evidence for it, other than the fact that there have been times where I’ve disagreed with a particular Israeli government’s position on a particular issue."

Boy oh boy, for a guy who's feelings are hurt by charges of anti-Semitism, this president has sure surrounded himself with Jew-haters, honored anti-Semites, and made policy declarations that can be seen as anti-Jewish. And unlike what he told the Forward, most of these charges were proven long before the Iran deal.

I could write a post detailing dozens of examples of this president's decisions which seem anti-Semitic, but in order to save the reader from an extra long post, I have decided to limit it to thirteen. Thirteen is a lucky number in Judaism it represents the thirteen principals of faith as laid out by Maimonides, and the Thirteen attributes of God's mercy as explained in the book of S'hemot (Exodus). Anyway to show you the reader some mercy, I will skip the theology and get into the examples.

Beginning with his first campaign for president, Obama surrounded himself with anti-Semites like General Merrel McPeak, 2008 Obama for President Co-Chair who an impressive resume of blaming our foreign policy on the "Jewish Lobby." Perhaps the best example of McPeak's Antisemitism was when he was asked during an interview why there isn't peace in the Middle East and he said, "New York City. Miami. We have a large vote -- vote, here in favor of Israel. And no politician wants to run against it." (in other words those pesky Jews, who control America's policy on the Middle East).

Another of his campaign advisers was the anti-Semite Zbigniew Brzezinski who has warned about the power of the pro-Israel lobby buying congress. One of his first presidential appointments the anti-Semitic Chas Freeman who blamed his resignation on the evil Israel lobby (a nicer way of saying Jewish lobby).

Obama's first presidential Medal of Freedom honorees were Bishop Desmond Tutu and Mary Robinson. The nicest thing Bishop Desmond Tutu ever said about Jews was "People are scared in this country [the US], to say wrong is wrong because the Jewish lobby is powerful." He also once said, that “the Jews thought they had a monopoly on God."

Tutu's co-honoree Mary Robinson presided over the "World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance" that turned into a non-stop hate-fest against Jews and Israel. The conference was so anti-Semitic that Colin Powell the Secretary of State at the time walked out.

During his presidency Obama has allied himself with Al Sharpton who the anti-Semitic pogrom in Crown Heights and incited the anti-Semitic fire bombing of Freddy's Fashion Mart in Harlem. He sent his closest adviser Valerie Jarrett to keynote an anti-Semitic ISNA conference whose discussions included: how key Obama aides are "Israeli," proving Jews "have control of the world," or how the Holocaust is punishment of Jews for being "serially disobedient to Allah."

For Secretary of Defense Obama appointed Chuck who believed in the nefarious “world wide Jewish conspiracy,” Hagel was once quoted as saying "The political reality is that... the Jewish lobby intimidates a lot of people up here."

Of the anti-Semitic Occupy Wall Street movement the President said, "We are on their side."

Some will say that the president's policy of demanding concessions from Israel and not the Palestinians, or his passive aggressive support/condemnation of Israel during last year's Israeli/Hamas war as examples of his anti-Semitism, however that might have more to do with his concessions to radical fundamentalists such as Iran than his dislike of Jews.

In recent months speaker Boehner invited two world leaders to speak to a joint session of congress. Both times the Speaker made the move on his own without first checking with the White House. The invitation of the Jewish leader Benjamin Netanyahu was criticized by the administration; in fact they encouraged their fellow Democrats to boycott the speech. The speech by the second world leader Pope Francis will happen in November but despite not being informed of the invite before it was made, the White House did not criticize the invitation, only the Jewish man's visit was criticized. I am not saying his visit was criticized only because he is Jewish---I'm just pointing out a fact.

When radical Islamists attacked a kosher supermarket Hyper-Cacher (French for Super Kosher) in Paris on a Friday afternoon just before the Jewish Sabbath when they knew it would be crowded with Jews, Obama first insisted it was a random act and not an anti-Semitic act. And when the world leaders came together to march in Paris as a protest against the Charlie Hebdo shooting and the anti-Semitic Hyper-Catcher attack Obama was conspicuous in his absence.

Previous presidents have criticized Israel for building homes in disputed territories. Under Bush there was a deal where Israel could add homes to existing communities and Jerusalem, not only did Obama unilaterally break that deal but also he went further. Obama criticized Israel for allowing Jews to purchase homes (with real money) in East Jerusalem. President Obama has not mentioned any other places around the world where he believes certain people should not be allowed to purchase homes---except for the Jews.

President Obama’s July 31 phone call organized by the Anti-Israel group J Street and other progressive Jewish groups seemed to be a recent example of Obama's anti-Semitism.

In the 20 minute phone call Obama said over and over that opponents of the Iran deal come from the same “array of forces that got us into the Iraq war,” he said a “bunch of billionaires who happily finance super PACs” are “putting the squeeze on members of Congress.”

The message was clear to the Jewish participants, William Daroff Senior Vice President for Public Policy & Director of the Washington office of The Jewish Federations of North America tweeted during the meeting “Jews are leading effort to kill #Irandeal. ‘Same people opposing the deal led us into Iraq war,’" and followed with “Canard: Jews got us into Iraq War.”

During the call Lee Rosenberg of AIPAC questioned the president's statement comparing people who object to the Iran deal to those who supported the invasion of Iraq he pointed out that many anti-Semites falsely claim the Jews pushed Bush into invading Iraq. Obama explained that Netanyahu supported the Iraq invasion (true). But Bibi wasn't the premier at the time he was a private citizen. The prime minister Ariel Sharon strongly urged Bush not to invade Iraq, arguing correctly that if Saddam were removed, “Iran, a far more dangerous player, will be rid of its principal enemy and free to pursue its ambitions of regional hegemony.”

Of course that didn't matter to this president, he needed to find a Jewish scapegoat so he used private-citizen Netanyahu who was strongly for the war. Also for the war was his V.P. Joe Biden, both of his secretaries of state Kerry and Clinton, and his biggest ally in the Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid all supported the invasion of Iraq in congress.

Is President Obama an anti-Semite? It is impossible to look into someone's heart, there may be other reasons why he's surrounded himself with people who make anti-Semitic statements or led anti-Semitic pogroms, honored people with a history of Antisemitism, and made some statements and policy decisions which could be interpreted as anti-Semitic. Any one or two of the above could reasonably be ignored (and if you disagree with any there's many more left out of this post). Whether one believes he is an anti-Semite or not it cannot be argued that there is much more than a "smidgen" of evidence one could use to make a factual based argument that this president has an issue with Jews.

And what were the Jews of the Democratic Party doing while this president was showing his apparent dislike of the Jews? Nothing...not one thing...bubkis.!  You get the idea? James Baker once said F**k the Jews they won't vote for us anyway.  Today the Democrats say F**k the Jews they will vote for us whatever we do. Perhaps its time to drop the pretense that both parties are friendly to the Jews, it's a lie told to you buy the liberal heads of Jewish organizations.

He Didn't Pull The Trigger But President Obama Helped To Kill Texas Deputy Darren Goforth

On Friday Deputy Darren Goforth, 47, was putting gas in his patrol car when a murderer approached him from behind said nothing and fired multiple shots.  Once he fell to the ground, the killer fired more shots at the deputy. The father of two was pronounced dead at the scene. While he wasn't there and did not hold the gun, President Obama killed Deputy Goforth as surely as if he pulled the trigger.

Yesterday at the Minnesota State Fair protesters carrying a black lives matter flag marched shouting an anti-cop chant,"pigs in a blanket, fry 'em like bacon." The President wasn't in Minnesota, but he was there in spirit, leading the chants.

Make no mistake about it---this anti-Cop movement can trace its roots directly to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. It started near the very beginning of his presidency when he admitted he didn't know the facts and then accused the Cambridge police of “acting stupidly” after his friend, Harvard Professor Henry Gates, was briefly arrested for breaking into his home.
“I don’t know, not having been there and not seeing all the facts, what role race played. But I think it’s fair to say, No. 1, any of us would be pretty angry; No. 2, that the Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home; and, No. 3 ... that there’s a long history in this country of African-Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately.”
That was the omen, Obama was foreshadowing what he thought about "the men in blue" who put their lives on the line to protect their communities.

When the shooting of Michael Brown by officer Darryl Wilson threatened to rip apart Ferguson Obama was quick to judge Speaking at the annual Congressional Black Caucus Foundation dinner in Washington:
But the anger and the emotion that followed his death awakened our nation once again to the reality that people in this room have long understood, which is, in too many communities around the country, a gulf of mistrust exists between local residents and law enforcement.

Too many young men of color feel targeted by law enforcement, guilty of walking while black, or driving while black, judged by stereotypes that fuel fear and resentment and hopelessness. We know that, statistically, in everything from enforcing drug policy to applying the death penalty to pulling people over, there are significant racial disparities.
Of course if the President bothered to wait for the facts he would have learned that Michael Brown was a teen-aged thug who had just ripped of a store and who after trying to steal his weapon was rushing at Wilson attempting to do him harm.  Brown's killing was justifiable homicide and the fake meme started by his friend and constant WH visitor Al Sharpton, "Hands Up Don't Shoot" was a fantasy, but truth never stopped this president from his goal.

Remember the passive aggressive statement Obama made during the April riots in Baltimore? He condemned the rioting but first said:
“We have seen too many instances of what appears to be police officers interacting with individuals, primarily African-American, often poor, in ways that raise troubling questions. It comes up, it seems like, once a week now,” Obama said. He said it’s not new, but there’s new awareness as a result of cameras and social media.
I am not saying that there are no bad cops, but the vast majority are good people who put their lives on the line to protect our families.

Deputy Darren Goforth was assassinated on Friday he wasn't shot by a criminal trying to escape (not that it would have been better) he was a white cop shot in the back by a black murderer.  Clearly he is an extremist member of a movement started by Barack Obama. Two kids lost a father and wife lost a husband thanks to Barack Obama.

Deputy Goforth was killed because he was a cop, and it was an extension of the "black lives matter," movement partially given birth by this president's statement about cops acting stupidly, fed by comments such as "If I had a son he would look like Trayvon Martin," taking a something that had nothing to do with race,  and making it racial. Every time he greeted professional bigot Al Sharpton Obama nursed the moment toward adulthood, each time this president made one-sided anti-cop statements after an incidents where people died at the hands of police whether justified or not, Obama was raising the level of hatred against our protectors.  This president who was supposedly going to unify the country, has divided us more than any president in recent history, and worse he has set up those who serve and protect as his personal scapegoats.

Al Sharpton And The Crown Heights Riot 24 Years Later: The Video Record

In conducting research on the Faux Reverend Al Sharpton for the 24th anniversary of the Crown Heights riot, these five videos, a compilation of the local TV news coverage of the Crown Heights riot were discovered (actually there were supposed to be six but the last one couldn't be found)

In viewing the five films it became stunningly clear that this incident started as a tragedy, mis- managed by inept politicians, and an agitator from outside the community inflamed the violence. Just as he does to this very day Al Sharpton called for arrests before the facts were revealed, complained that the media was only showing the violence, and in turn they protected Sharpton from being revealed as the charlatan he is.

Video 1: The Tragedy.  BTW notice how the local politicians immediately took sides without waiting for evidence. In this case the politician was disputing the Rabbi's account of the police directing the ambulance to take care of the Jewish driver. The Rabbis account turned out to be true.

Video 2: Day 2, Complaints the Jews got better medical attention. False reports about the ambulance go viral and stir the violence.  Two cops sent to the hospital, second night of rioting. Day 3 More violence, cops shot with BB guns, local Blacks continue to attack Jews. Mayor meets with local black groups, even goes to the local schools (just like Ferguson).

>

Part 3: More of the 3rd night's violence. City leaders get booed by Black community. Pictures of stores damaged an looted. Al Sharpton demands arrest of driver, without any facts.  Cops beaten up and mocked. Claims that the violent protesters come from outside of the community. The chants of the now familiar "no justice, no peace." This time the accusations were not-- too much police action, but the Jews were complaining that there was not enough police action.

Part 4: The Fourth night of the riots. Police show force. Both blacks and Jews complain that media is showing too much of the violence. It's true.  There were protests during  press conferences.  Also strange is that there was mention of Al Sharpton protests but little coverage of Al Sharpton's incitement during protests. For example the news  from this day reported the Sharpton rally marchers proceeded through Crown Heights, carrying antisemitic signs and an Israeli flag was burned. The MSM was protecting Sharpton even then.  Interestingly there was a discussion of how community pressure might effect whether or not there would be a prosecution.

Part 5: Night 5 the first mostly calm night. 500 March with Al Sharpton (surrounded by 2000 cops). Still more complaints that if the driver that hit Gavin Cato was black he would have been arrested. Jews complain to reporters about outside agitators claiming to be black leaders [Sharpton] inciting the violence. Al Sharpton contends the Jews need to accept the blacks.

I am really disappointed the 6th tape does not exist because it might of had clips of Gavin Cato's funeral which was dominated by Al Sharpton's eulogy. The "civil rights leader" loved by Obama  let loose with anti-Semitic vitriol. The below is from the book "Crown Heights Blacks, Jews, and the 1991 Brooklyn Riot by Edward Shapiro" which is presently out of print. It tells the story of the Sharpton eulogy.

24 Years Ago: Al Sharpton Led His First Anti-Semitic Pogrom In Crown Heights NY

Al Sharpton wasn't always an unrepentant MSNBC star, adviser to president Obama, and first-in-line to agitate a racial situation anywhere in the country. It happened 24-years-ago this coming Wednesday.  It started with a tragic car accident in Crown Heights Brooklyn and escalated into a pogrom against the Jewish people. The media gives it a politically correct description, violence between the area's Blacks and Jews. However the violence was not two-sided. The Crown Heights riot was an attack on the Jews by the neighborhood's Caribbean community, fueled in large part by Al Sharpton, the "Reverend" who does not believe in the commandment about "bearing false witness."

Below is the full story of Sharpton's first Anti-Semitic pogrom (Freddy's Fashion Mart came four years later).

Black Antisemitism in the Summer of 1991
Jews were a key part of the civil rights movement in the 1960s, when the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. made his famous march to Selma Alabama, he walked hand in hand with many Jews including Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel. Along with the Jews was a contingent of Torahs to emphasize that the quest for Civil Rights was a holy mission for the Jewish people.

In spite of the strong Jewish participation in the civil rights movement the transformation from the peaceful marches to Black power movement introduced considerable friction into African American-Jewish relations, especially within the “Black Muslim” movement.

During the 1970s and 1980s African-Americans stopped looking at Jews as their allies but as their oppressors. The Jews were seen as having the political power that the African-Americans desired. Black leaders such as Louis Farrakhan, and Jesse Jackson went public with anti-Semitic comments.

Adding to the hatred were the leaders of the South African anti-Apartheid movement who traveled throughout the United States as conquering heroes, and spreading Jew-hatred. For example, in 1984 Desmond Tutu publicly complained about American Jews having “an arrogance—the arrogance of power because Jews are a powerful lobby in this land and all kinds of people woo their support.

Understandably Jewish/Black relations were already rocky as NY City entered the summer of 1991.

On July 20, 1991, Leonard Jeffries of City College who had a history of anti-Semitic slurs presented a two-hour long speech claiming “rich Jews" financed the slave trade, Jews control the film industry (together with Italian mafia), and use that control to paint a brutal stereotype of blacks. Jeffries also attacked Diane Ravitch, (Assistant Secretary of Education) calling her a "sophisticated Texas Jew," "a debonair racist" and "Miss Daisy.”

Jeffries’ speech received enormous negative press during the first weeks of August especially from the leaders of the Jewish community who wanted Jeffries fired for the bigotry.

With each new criticism of the professor, leaders in the African-American community rushed to Jeffries' defense. NYC’s two black newspapers as well as black radio station WLIB; joined activists such Al Sharpton, Colin Moore, C. Vernon Mason, Sonny Carson, and Lenora Fulani to showcase their approval of Jeffries’s “scholarship” and to denounce the people who criticized Jeffries Antisemitism as race baiters.

Sharpton is credited with saying, “If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house" as a response the Crown Heights riot. That is a fallacy; he made that threatening comment about the growing Jeffries controversy on August 18th the day before the riots began. Clearly something bad was coming.

Jeffries was fired because of his bigoted speech and pressure from the Jewish community (he was later reinstated and won a court case surrounding his firing) leading to further resentment of the Jews from a Black community already being barraged with anti-Jewish incitement from the African-American media.

Crown Heights Ignites
On Monday 8/19/91 a station wagon driven by Yosef Lifsh, hit another car and bounced onto the sidewalk at 8:21 p.m. The station wagon was part of a 3-car motorcade carrying the Lubavitcher Rebbe Menachem Schneerson. The Rebbe was in a different car.

When it bounced onto the sidewalk, the station wagon struck two black children, 7-year-old cousins Gavin and Angela Cato who were on the sidewalk. Lifsh immediately got out of his car and tried to help the children--but the gathering crowd started to attack him.

Within minutes, an ambulance from the Hasidic-run ambulance service, and two from the city's Emergency Medical Service arrived. Also the gathering crowd became unruly. The police who showed up radioed for backup reporting the station wagon’s driver and passengers were being assaulted. Police officer Nona Capace ordered the Hasidic ambulance to remove the battered Yosef Lifsh, and his passenger from the scene.

The injured children went by separate city ambulances to Kings County Hospital. Tragically Gavin Cato was pronounced dead; thankfully his cousin survived.

A false rumor began to spread that the Hasidic ambulance crew had ignored the dying black child in favor of treating the Jewish men. This falsehood was later used by Al Sharpton to incite the crowd.

Other rumors sprang up Lifsh was intoxicated ( breath alcohol test administered by the police proved his sobriety). More falsehoods circulated; Lifsh did not have a valid driver's license; he went through a red light; the police prevented people including Gavin Cato's father, from assisting in the rescue.

Charles Price, an area resident who had come to the scene of the accident, incited the masses with claims that, "The Jews get everything they want. They're killing our children." Price later plead guilty for inciting the crowd to murder Yankel Rosenbaum.

Ignited by the falsehoods, resentment exploded into violence. Groups of young black men threw rocks, bottles and debris at police, residents and homes.

According to the New York Times, more than 250 neighborhood residents went on a rampage that first night, mostly black teenagers, many of whom were shouting "Jews! Jews! Jews!"

Three hours after the tragic crash, 29-year-old Australian Jewish scholar Yankel Rosenbaum was attacked by a gang of Black teens. He was stabbed four times. Cops quickly arrested Lemrick Nelson, who was identified by Rosenbaum as his attacker. Rosenbaum's wounds were not fatal he was expected to recover; Mayor Dinkins visited Rosenbaum at the hospital. Yankel died at 2:30am Tuesday because the hospital staff missed one of his knife wounds.

Despite some claims Al Sharpton had nothing to do with the murder of Yankel Rosenbaum, the tax-dodger/ racial agitator took over on day two.

The next evening, according to the sworn testimony of Efraim Lipkind, a former Hasidic resident of Crown Heights, Sharpton started agitating the crowd.
“Then we had a famous man, Al Sharpton, who came down, and he said Tuesday night, kill the Jews, two times. I heard him, and he started to lead a charge across the street to Utica.”
With each passing hour the violence worsened, Jewish leaders began to desperately complain about the lack of protection to the authorities. They said, the rioters were being allowed to rampage unchecked, too little force was being brought to bear, and too few arrests were being made. Area Jews felt the police were under orders by the City’s first black mayor to hold back, that the police were not allowed to fight against the Black rioters, who continued to grow bolder in their anti-Semitic attack as they sensed the appeasement.

For three days following the accident, African and Caribbean Americans of the neighborhood, joined by growing numbers of non-residents (just like Ferguson), rioted in Crown Heights. A Jew who ventured outside was risking his life, of course being in a home easily identifiable as Jewish by a mezuzah on the front door made them targets anyway.

On the third day of the pogrom, Al Sharpton and Sonny Carson led a march of protesters chanting, “No Justice, No Peace!,” “Death to the Jews!” and “Whose streets? Our streets!” The mob displayed anti-Semitic signs and burned an Israeli flag.

The Israeli Prime Minister Yitzchak Shamir called Mayor Dinkins to inquire about the travesties. Dinkins replied curtly that it was a domestic issue and none of his business. Shamir replied, “If Jews are being murdered and an Israeli flag is burned, this is very much my business.”

The fact is New York City Mayor David Dinkins responded to the riot immediately by deploying 2,000 police officers and making a personal visit to the troubled neighborhood under a hail of rocks and epithets hurled at him by fellow blacks.

Dinkins has spoken of his own mishandling of the riots. Admitting he screwed up Crown Heights:
“I regret not saying to the police brass sooner whatever you guys are doing is not working” it was then they altered their behavior and they were able to contained the ravaging young blacks who were attacking Jews … I will forever be accused of holding back the police and permitted blacks to attack Jews, however that did not happen it is just inaccurate”
In all, the street violence against the Crown Heights Jews lasted three days/four nights starting with the evening of the accident.  On Thursday evening, cops finally restored order, although sporadic violence against Jews continued for weeks after the riot was contained.

Yankel Rosenbaum wasn't the only person murdered by the rioters. On September 5th, Italian-American, Anthony Graziosi, was dragged out of his car, brutally beaten and stabbed to death because his full beard and dark clothing caused him to be mistaken for a Hasidic Jew.

A week after the accident that started it all, at the funeral of Gavin Cato on August 26th, Al Sharpton gave a eulogy which fueled the fires of hatred.
“The world will tell us he was killed by accident. Yes, it was a social accident. ... It's an accident to allow an apartheid ambulance service in the middle of Crown Heights. ... Talk about how Oppenheimer in South Africa sends diamonds straight to Tel Aviv and deals with the diamond merchants right here in Crown Heights. The issue is not anti-Semitism; the issue is apartheid. ... All we want to say is what Jesus said: If you offend one of these little ones, you got to pay for it. No compromise, no meetings, no kaffe klatsch, no skinnin' and grinnin'. Pay for your deeds."
Regarding the Mayor's call for peace Sharon pontificated:
"They don't want peace, they want quiet."
Sharpton and the lawyer representing the Cato family counseled them not to cooperate with authorities in the investigation and demanded a special prosecutor be named.

Sharpton was asked about the violence, he justified it,
“We must not reprimand our children for outrage, when it is the outrage that was put in them by an oppressive system," he said.
The first Sabbath after the Funeral Sharpton tried unsuccessfully to kick up tensions again by marching 400 protesters in front of the Lubavitch of Crown Heights shouting “No Justice, No Peace."

Sharpton called for the arrest of Lifsh, the driver of the station wagon. Even though more than twenty similarly accidental vehicular deaths had occurred in Brooklyn since 1989 without a single arrest several involving local Hasidim run down by blacks.  The agitator’s pressure led Charles Hynes, the Brooklyn district attorney, into convening a grand jury.

When the investigation of the accident did not produce a criminal indictment against Yosef Lifsh, Al Sharpton encouraged the Cato family to seek big-bucks damages in a civil suit against Lifsh (who had since fled to Israel for his own safety). Sharpton announced that he would personally serve papers on Yosef Lifsh in Israel. He bought tickets and hopped an El-Al flight on the weekend of Yom Kippur. At Ben Gurion Airport, a woman spotted Sharpton hailing a cab and yelled to him, "Go to hell! “I am in hell already," shot back. "I am in Israel."

The Aftermath
Sharpton abandoned the Caribbean people of Crown Heights as soon as the anti-Semitic violence died down. His entire participation in the violence may have been a calculated effort to usurp Jesse Jackson as the leading spokesman for African-Americans. Jackson may have had his “Hymie-town” but Sharpton’s incitement against those Jews who he perceived as having the political power that African Americans deserved, went much further than simply words like Jackson.

Sadly had Sharpton not exploited the death of Gavin Cato for his own “resume”, what was by all accounts, a disorganized group of ruffians on the first night of the riot, might well have dissipated the morning after the accident.

The media portrayed the Crown Heights riot as two-sided promoting the myth that both blacks and Jews were equal in their violence. The violence was a one-sided rampage waged by some of the neighborhood’s 180,000 strong black majority against a Jewish minority of 20,000.

Maybe the media continues to sugarcoat the riot because it was unprecedented in American history.  For liberals  it’s impossible to perceive blacks as purveyors of bigotry they are forever in the role of victims of hate.

The Crown Heights riot occurred just five months after the infamous Rodney King beating,  a disgusting act of police brutality against the African-American King which was video-taped and repeated on TV ad nauseam.

After the King case, who could believe that blacks in America could ever take over the role of racists, but that is what happened in Crown Heights. Even today the deaths of Gavin Cato and Yankel Rosenbaum are viewed as some sort of a" tit for tat." This is a misrepresentation of the facts. Cato's death was the result of a horrible accident; on the other hand, Rosenbaum was deliberately stabbed four times by an angry mob. Anthony Graziosi's death has been forgotten perhaps because his death would break some cynical equality of fatality.

Many in the Jewish community felt Mayor Dinkins was complacent in the violence, holding back the police from protecting the Jewish community, but there has never been evidence offered proving that charge. A more likely explanation for the lack of protection offered to the Hasidic community is a perfect storm of incompetence. An incompetent Police Commissioner Lee Brown was being managed by an incompetent Mayor.

Nevertheless the pogrom dealt a death blow to Dinkins' mayoral career. Ironically it was the fact that Jews had voted for him in overwhelming numbers that him a narrow victory over Rudy Giuliani in 1989. Those same Jews switched sides, giving Giuliani the win against Dinkins in 1993. To this day, the media refuses to acknowledge that African-Americans can be racists, and Antisemitism is still ignored by the media.

As for Al Sharpton, he went on to lead a second pogrom, this time against a Jewish-owned business in Harlem. He never apologized or even acknowledged his leadership of these two Anti-Semitic pogroms or any of his other incidents of racial agitation. I suppose it was his experience in leading two anti-Semitic pogroms that gave Sharpton the expertise he needed to be an adviser to the Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown families.

Just as he did in 1991 Al Sharpton exploits the death of someone's child to incite anger and build his reputation as a "civil rights leader." But now he brings with the approval and weight of NBC news.

And the media learned nothing from Crown Heights they continue to ignore Al Sharpton's record of hatred. To them he is a civil rights leader, but history shows he is nothing but an opportunistic hater.

Tomorrow, we will be publishing video of the Crown Heights riot.

Baltimore Mayor Tells Local NAACP Not To Allow Republicans Into Their Office

Baltimore Mayor Used Professional Racist Al Sharpton To Shield Her From Reporters

Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake who told the police force to stand-down and become human-targets during the recent riots, and who was surprised when crime rose since that order is not very interested in unifying her city. Along with other Democratic Party leaders she told Hassan Giordano, a leader of a Baltimore branch of NAACP (he's a member of the executive Committeethat he was not allowed to bring Republicans into his office to try to outreach to the local African-American community.

Mr. Giordano told The Daily Caller that he calls himself “not the average conservative” because of he is of Muslim faith, grew up in "the hood" and has criminal record.
“So you would think, ‘Oh, he’s definitely a typical Democrat.’ But I’ve never identified with the Democratic Party. Ever.”
Actually he is not a member of either party, but thinks that the NAACP should work with both parties saying that blind allegiance to the Democratic Party hinders true civil rights progress.
“The NAACP — on a national level, not necessarily a local level — has this liberal machine they bow down to that does nothing to help them in the long run,”
Which is why he welcomed Republicans' attempt to reach out to the black community, it gives them leverage to play one of the other.
“When National found out that I was bringing the governor [Larry Hogan, a Republican], the lieutenant governor [Boyd Rutherford, a Republican], and Dr. [Alveda] King to Baltimore and the Sandtown NAACP office, they literally called and said, ‘There’s no way in the world they can come into our office,'” Giordano explained. “Then the Mayor [Democrat, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake] — who kind of gave the us the NAACP office in Sandtown — called and said, ‘No, you’re not allowed.'”

“And then, the president [of the Baltimore NAACP branch, Tessa Hill-Aston] called me,” he continued. “And she said, ‘You know they’re having a fit because you’re bringing in too many Republicans.'"
Mr. Giorgano told the website the organization bows down to a “liberal machine” at the national level instead of looking for areas of agreement between different ideologies.
“[This] is what I hate about NAACP national: It’s more media-driven than being productive to help people,” Mr. Giordano said, The Daily Caller reported. “I’ve always stayed away from it because of that. And even being a part of it now kind of turns my stomach at times.”
Giordano contends that there are more conservatives than liberals trying to help out the Baltimore African-American community, and the Republican Party has been trying to help and get involved. But their offers of help are almost always being denied because the NAACP wants to protect its liberal public image.
“Through all of [the aftermath of Freddie Gray], our biggest benefactors and the most volunteers who signed up to help us do stuff for the [Sandtown] community were white Republicans,” Giordano recalled telling Hill-Aston. “So if you want to go and sell out to them and say we’re not gonna allow [Republicans] to come through, then fine. You’ll appease National.”
Sadly the proverbial straw has broken the camels back, after three years on the Baltimore NAACP's  executive board and endless frustrations with the national organization, Giordano has submitted his letter of resignation to pursue his civil rights activism in the political sphere. I for one wish him well.

In the video from May 2015 below, Mr. Giordano praises the GOP's aid during the Freddie Gray rioting.

HYPOCRISY: Before They Vilify Trump, NBC & NYC Should Disassociate From Sharpton

Regular readers of these pages know I am not a big fan of Donald Trump's candidacy for president, nor the statement about Mexican Illegal immigrants made during his announcement speech. The real estate mogul  was totally right about the problem of porous U.S. boarders. At the same time the verbiage he used," They are bringing drugs and they are bringing crime, and they’re rapists. Some, I assume are good people" was politically stupid, and too divisive for somebody trying to be president of ALL the United States.

Even worse is the fact that the mainstream media conversation has sucked all the wind out of the other candidate's campaigns. The media isn't covering the issues or the candidates' approach to the Issues but the latest stupid thing "The Donald" has said.

None of this means that NBC/Universal, Macy's, or now possibly New York City whose Mayor announced he is reviewing Trump's contracts with the city, is doing the right thing by dissociating (or possibly disassociating) from Trump and his businesses.

In the cases of NBC and NY Mayor DeBlasio their Trump stances aren't even consistent as they proudly associate with Al Sharpton, a man whose record of promoting hatred out paces Trumps faux pas by hundreds of miles.

Sharpton's record of hate didn't start with making the Eric Garner killing a black/white issue despite the fact the senior cop on the scene was both black and female. Nor did it start when Sharpton took the killing of a kid who tried to grab a policeman's gun and then menacingly charged the cop in Ferguson Missouri a white/black issue. It didn't even start with Sharpton promoting the "hands up don't shoot" fraud even after it was proven to be a myth. For most of his life Sharpton has been inciting violence:

Like the funeral of Gavin Cato in 1991 where Al Sharpton, after inciting days of rioting against Jews in Crown Heights, gave a powerful eulogy inspiring hatred and Antisemitism:

Those people in Crown Heights  especially those who were hurt in the violence never had justice from Sharpton's incitement, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. According to the sworn testimony of Efraim Lipkind, a former Hasidic resident of Crown Heights:
“Then we had a famous man, Al Sharpton, who came down, and he said Tuesday night, kill the Jews, two times. I heard him, and he started to lead a charge across the street to Utica. ---
The MSM which "adores"  Sharpton, never asks him about when NYC Jews complained about the Antisemitism of Black College professor Leonard Jeffries in 1991, Sharpton called them race baiters adding “If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house"--
Sharpton was promoting hatred when he libeled former NY State AG Robert Abrams. He  refused to meet Abrams during the Tawana Brawley hoax because meeting AG who was Jewish, would be “like asking someone who watched someone killed in the gas chamber to sit down with Mr. Hitler.” Is this the voice of a preacher? Is it the voice of someone trying to unite the races? Or is the voice of a man inciting hatred?

In 1987 Steven Pagones former Assistant District Attorney in Duchess County was accused by Sharpton of raping Tawana Brawley. Not only was Pagones nowhere near Brawley that night, but also the entire rape story was a fraud.

Angelina Marrero, Cynthia Martinez, Luz Ramos, Mayra Rentas , Olga Garcia, Garnette Ramautar, Kareem Brunner, the seven victims of the massacre at Freddy's Fashion Mart never had justice. They are dead because a four-month-long campaign of hate by Al Sharpton led to a man firebombing the clothing store killing the seven innocents.

Why are they still working with Sharpton? Don't the remember what happened during the "Central Park Jogger" trial? The jogger was raped and beaten to within an inch of her life.. Sharpton led rallies where he claimed the "jogger" was raped by her boyfriend and the woman who was raped and beaten to within a hair of death was called a whore. Whether the men on trial were innocent or guilty didn't matter to Sharpton, he promoted hatred via falsehood.

Sharpton used racially charged lies to destroy the political career of David Dinkins, the hapless first black mayor of NYC. He was angrily denounced by Sharpton using these words, “David Dinkins, you wanna be the only ni**er on television, only ni**er in the newspaper, only ni**er that can talk. Don’t cover them, don’t talk to them, ’cause you got the only ni**er problem. ‘Cause you know if a black man stood up next to you, they would see you for the whore that you really are"  By the way the asterisks were put in by me, Sharpton used the "n" word. Perhaps Mayor DeBlasio, a good friend of the faux reverent Sharpton should reevaluate his association with the hate-monger.

Remember the controversy surrounding the Duke lacrosse team?  They were falsely accused of rape and without any facts Al Sharpton declared that these ”rich white boys” had attacked a ”black girl,” and he warned that if arrests were not made immediately, there would be no peace. He further claimed, "this case parallels Abner Louima, who was raped and sodomized in a bathroom [by a New York City police officer] like this girl has alleged she was.... and just like in the Louima case, you have people here saying she fabricated it.”  Perhaps NBC or DeBlasio could ask Sharpton about the Duke incitement. Especially since it was later proven that indeed, she totally invented the story and all charges against the defendants were dropped.

Why would NBC and NYC look to punish Trump when they are silent about this man who some call Reverend inciting racial hate, and violating the 9th Commandment, "Thou shalt not bear false witness...?"

What about hateful language as political speech? In May 2012  Sharpton told his radio audience that Republicans view black people as subhumans, much as Adolf Hitler saw Jews.
"It seems like they [some of the right wing] act as though some wiping out of people ... is alright. It's not alright to do to any innocent people.... [T]o wipe out innocent people just 'cause of who they are, like was done in Hitler's Germany, or was done to Native Americans, is not justified."
As a Republican who lost family member in the holocaust I don't understand why Sharpton wasn't criticized by the MSM for this comment which was hateful on so many levels.

At Michael Brown's funeral Al Sharpton said "God judges you for what you did on Earth” He’s correct, because in the end it is all up to God to dispose final justice." And one day it will be up to God to judge him for filling the world with חָמַס (chamas)  a biblical Hebrew word meaning an evil violence.

But before that, NBC, NY City, President Obama and others should be perusing truth and justice about Al Sharpton, at least before they go after Trump.  And the rest of us should be pressing them about why they are going after one incident of hate speech while ignoring a lifetime of hate.

NBC, The Trump Conundrum, And Political Correctness

NBC lied.  They claim they "fired" Donald Trump because they objected to his comment about Illegal Mexican immigrants.  In the news conference announcing his bid for the GOP presidential nomination, Trump asserted:
When do we beat Mexico at the border? They are not our friend, believe me…The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else’s problems…When Mexico sends its people, they are not sending their best. They are not sending you. They are sending people that have lots of problems, and they are bringing those problems to us. They are bringing drugs and they are bringing crime, and they’re rapists. Some, I assume are good people.
NBC's response earlier this week was, "Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants," they said, "NBCUniversal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump."

Nice sounding rhetoric, In truth they ended their association with Trump because their liberal base was going crazy calling for the Donald's head.

For example there was the petition signed by over 200,000 people
"Please cancel Miss USA, Miss Universe and The Apprentice. You are supporting a hateful and narcissistic individual without any kind of values, both personal and business wise. Not only that, but you are supporting a growing trend of bigotry and division in this country. Mr. Trump does not need to apologize anymore, which he will not according to his remarks after being dumped by Univision. He needs to be shown that his behavior belongs in the past before the civil rights movement."
I have been criticized for calling The Donald a clown, the bloviating billionaire of birtherism, and someone who does not understand the verbal boundaries necessary to be a successful candidate for president, a candidate whose loose mouth may potentially hurt the party. My feelings about him have not changed in the past few days. But that doesn't mean NBC's action was the right decision to make.

The statement about illegal immigrants was vintage Trump.  The man says whatever is on his mind. Usually what he says is correct even though he says it in the most asshole way possible. The Apprentice host is totally right about the problem of porous U.S. boarders. At the same time the verbiage he used was totally obnoxious--> "They are bringing drugs and they are bringing crime, and they’re rapists. Some, I assume are good people." If Donald Trump had said, "most are good people but many are involved with drugs, rape and other crimes, there still would have been a controversy but nowhere near as big.

The last time I checked this is still America and in this country people shouldn't be fired for exercising their free speech. Heck if that was true Al Sharpton who led two anti-Semitic riots in NYC wouldn't be on NBC's payroll.

So NBC and Univision each dropped Miss USA and Miss Universe costing Trump a few million dollars---big deal that's like losing a five dollar bill for "normal people."  Of all the people affected by the NBC/Univision's action, Trump was hurt the least.  The contestants looking to use the televised pageant as a springboard were hurt, as well as the crew, tech staff, the people who worked at the promotion companies, and the sponsors...etc., etc., etc.

As far as the Apprentice/Celebrity Apprentice Trump had already "quit" the show.  NBC's deal wasn't with Trump anyway it was with Mark Burnett's production company. Everyone assumed that when the real estate mogul dropped out of the race he would return to the show....not now.

I don't see anybody else taking Trump's role in the show. So what happens now if Trump drops out of the race.  Look for him to go to another producer/network to come up with the same exact show with a different name (How about You're Fired!?).  This scenario, losing a hit show and a possible competitive show only serves to hurt NBC's other employees and their stockholders.  Trump loses nothing--but again, others get hurt.

In the end what NBC did in "firing" Trump, was stupid (using the Trump vernacular). If they were trying to hurt "The Donald," it was unsuccessful. In fact taking on "the liberal media" probably increased his fame. The bottom line is it's legitimate to say Trump's lack of verbal control prevents one  from supporting his candidacy for the nomination. However it should in no way prevent him or anyone else from conducting business.

In this country we are supposed to have a market-driven economy. It is up to the consumer to decide whether or not to support programs associated with Trump. And based on his skill as a salesman and promoter, my guess is that nothing he has said would prevent people from watching a Trump program, or purchase a Trump-branded product. The big loser here is NBC Universal and Univision.

It's Time To Dump The TSA And Adopt The Israeli Way Of Airport Protection

Last week we learned that a test of the TSA failed to identify a security breach 90% of the time, this week we learned that over 70 TSA workers have terrorist connections. These news items do not inspire confidence in U.S. airport security.  There is a better way, that our government probably never adopt even though it would be much safer.

Allow me to suggest that it is time to toss out the entire TSA system, and all the employees, and screen passengers and people in airports the "Israeli way" which involves hiring agents based on their intelligence and their ability to behavior profile and profiling passengers as they make their way through the airport.

The real difference between the Israeli and American approach is the goal. Israel tries to identify and stop the terrorist while the U.S. tries to stop the bomb or other weapon. The Israeli approach is totally void of politics, consistent no matter who the Prime Minister is because the Israeli government realizes the fight against terrorism is a fight for its very survival and its economy is dependent on tourism. Thus her government and citizenry have a view of preventing terrorism that is unencumbered by the political correctness which restrains efforts in the United States.

The ISA (Israeli Security Agency) calls their approach looks for the “human factor.”

Some parts of that human factor would cause Al Sharpton's ears to bleed  just before he shows up to picket the Airport because Ethnic profiling of passengers plays a role in Israel’s multilevel approach. However ethnicity is only one element of the profiling, country of origin, religion, general appearance and the most important element, behavior are also part of the information used to profile. Wherever that profile is being made, no matter what country a flight is leaving from, if the destination is Israel, an Israeli doing the profile. Israel does not believe in trusting its security to citizens of other countries.

All passengers traveling to and from Israel are questioned by security staff. For Jewish Israelis, the process takes a couple of minutes at most, with passengers being asked whether they packed their luggage alone, and whether anyone had access to the luggage once it was packed. Jewish tourists also usually pass through security within a few minutes.

When my family entered the El Al terminal at Newark Airport before our last trip to Israel, we were greeted at the entrance by someone who asked where we came from and where were going.

When we made our way to the check in line, a ISA security employee in a suit and tie asked my son (who was 12 at the time) out of my ear’s range why we were going to Israel. He was asked if we were Jewish and when my son answered yes, the screener followed up by asking the name of our Synagogue and our Rabbi’s name. The entire time he was asking my son questions he was looking at my wife and me, gauging our reaction to the "interrogation." The entire process with my son took less than 30 seconds.

When the security guy was done with my son, he came to me and asked me the same questions (plus the typical who packed your luggage-type queries) once again gauging my reaction very closely.

Like the Mossad, tank drivers, and air force pilots, Israeli airport security has that super hero, no-nonsense, get to the point directness and efficiency and professionalism,
"Who packed your bags?” “What was your Bar Mitzvah portion?” “Why are you even here visiting?”
This quick-fire interrogation was not bothersome but reassuring. We got the feeling that we were dealing with people who knew what they were doing, and after all it was much more important to us that when we returned to the ground it was because our plane was landing and not because it was blown to smithereens.
My Daughter and Son Await Screening At Ben Gurion Airport

Non-Jewish tourists tend to be questioned a bit more thoroughly, and may be grilled over the purpose of their visit and about their accommodation.
… the procedure for Arabs and Muslims can often be lengthy and irritating, ending with a full body and baggage search. Visitors who have passport stamps from countries hostile to Israel are also questioned intensively in what can be a traumatic experience for the uninitiated.
But then again it still beats a country like the UAE, where if your passport has a stamp on it that you've visited Israel you are not allowed in the country.
….Anyone admitting to leaving their luggage at an airport or bus station left-luggage area before check-in will have their suitcases stripped, with each item individually checked and re-packed.
The individual check also happens with "wise-asses," like the people who were in line in front of me of me in line during that trip. These security people are serious but polite and expect the same out of the passengers.

Being Muslim or Arab won't get you the extreme treatment, but it will make the questioners pay a bit more attention to your behavior.

If I had been more attentive when traveling to Israel, I would have noticed that throughout the terminal there were “armed eyes” surreptitiously looking at my family as well as everyone else in the terminal. These observers were making the same behavioral profiles as the guy who questioned people on line.

“It is mind-boggling for us Israelis to look at what happens in North America, because we went through this 50 years ago,” said Rafi Sela, the president of AR Challenges, a global transportation security consultancy.,.

Officers are looking for nervousness or other signs of “distress” — behavioral profiling. Sela rejects the argument that profiling is discriminatory.
“The word ‘profiling’ is a political invention by people who don’t want to do security,” he said. “To us, it doesn’t matter if he’s black, white, young or old. It’s just his behavior. So what kind of privacy am I really stepping on when I’m doing this?”
Another important difference is that you don’t just come off the street and get a job with the ISA (Israel Security Agency). These security agents are ex-military (as most of the country is) and are selected based on their intelligence and their ability to behavior profile. The agents are rotated out of the airports every few months to keep them sharp.

Shlomo Harnoy, vice president of the Sdema group, an Israeli security consultancy firm which specializes in aviation security, believes Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the Nigerian who tried to blow up the Detroit-bound Northwest Airlines aircraft on Christmas Day a few years ago, would have been detained “within seconds ” at Ben Gurion airport. According to Harnoy, a young Muslim traveling alone, on a one-way ticket, with no luggage, was an obvious suspect.

Harnoy, who once headed the Israel Security Agency’s aviation security department, believes investing millions in new technology is not the answer. “
Whoever is concentrating on stopping old ladies bringing a bottle of mineral water on to the plane will not find the terrorist, or the bomb. The old lady is not a suicide bomber and the bottle of water is not a bomb component.”
Not only do most Israeli security selectors have degree-level education, they are trained to the highest standards. The most important element in the “human factor” is that security guards understand the threat to the country.

Additionally on every El Al flight there are armed air marshals. You won’t know who they are, but I strongly recommend that you don't make a mid-air fuss to find out.

As for my family's brush with Israeli Airport Security, we arrived in Ben Gurion Airport twelve hours later, tired but not even realizing that we went through a more extensive security process than we ever had before.

The TSA needs to adapt the entire process; not just the behavioral screening but the ethnic elements; not just the screening at the gates, but throughout the terminal and on the plans, not just the training, but the selection of agents (personally I think it would be a great job for Special Forces vets).

During her 67 year fight against terror, Israel has achieved a balance between protection of civil liberties and the prevention of violence. Her decision about airport security is the sanctity of saving human lives outweighs possible targeting and inconvenience of the extra questioning of a few.

And face it getting to your destination alive and whole is what we all want.

Gene Simmons the sage from the band KISS who was born in Israel put it this way:
I think we should be racially profiling anybody from the Middle East … and as an Israeli; I want you to look at me first. I want you to search my anal cavity and look at my tax records. I want you to look at me first, and then at every guy named Muhammad.
