Obama's TSA Nominee Says al Qaeda Attacks Because We're Allies With France and Israel

The attempted bombing of a Detroit-bound flight by the Burnt-Ball-Boxer-Bomer has re-ignited debate over President Obama's nominee for chief of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), which has been without a permanent leader since Obama took office.

Up until now the reasons for the holdup of Erroll Southers has been his support of TSA unionization (and what that would do to national security), and his original testimony to Congress, where he wasn't exactly forthcoming about abusing his power while at the FBI (read more about those issues here).

Today, there is a new reason---the guy doesn't "Get It" In the video below Southers is asked Just how important is our "war on terror" in the nation's priorities? Southers begins his answer by blaming our friendship with Israel and France for al-Qaeda's attacks.
"Due to connectivity that we have with countries such as Israel, France -- countries that are seen by groups, by al Qaeda, as infidels or anti-Islamic -- by the true nature of our alliance with them means that we subject to be attacked as well."
On the positive note, if Southers is accurate, that shouldn't be a worry for long, as President Obama is doing his best to screw up our relationship with both countries.

In this interview with Video Jug, Souters claimed that the war on terror had "some parity" with such issues as Global Warming and education, supersedes them in importance because other government initiatives cannot flourish as long as terrorism remains a serious threat.

Watch his full answer below:

While it may be appropriate that the President "who doesn't get it" has nominated a TSA Director "who doesn't get it," our national security should demand that Earl Southers NOT receive congressional approval for the TSA Job. Video H/T Washington Examiner
