Stupid Obama Tricks: US Govt. Paying For a Palestinian Authority Ad Campaign in Israel

Ladies and Gentleman, your tax dollars at work! Based on the administration's mistaken belief that Israel does not support the two state solution, the US Government has taken your tax dollars and given it to the Palestinian Authority to run an advertising campaign in Israel. On Sunday, the Palestinians launched the media campaign aimed at the Israeli population. Its slogan "We Are Partners. What about You?"  is designed to play off the claim of the Israeli government that the PA is not acting like a genuine peace partner.
The campaign launched Sunday includes the faces of senior Palestinian Authority officials Saeb Erekat, Jibril Rajoub and Yasser Abed Rabo, and Riad Malki, Palestinian foreign affairs minister, Yedioth Aharonoth said.

The aim of the campaign is to persuade Israelis that peace partners on the Palestinian side truly exist, and calls for support of a two-state solution, the Tel Aviv newspaper said.

The U.S. Agency for International Development, or USAID, invested close to $250,000 toward the creation of the billboards, the newspaper said.

The campaign has raised a few eyebrows in Israel.

"We are talking about a Palestinian Authority campaign funded by the American government," an Israeli Foreign Ministry official was quoted saying.
 They even produced a commercial

The U.S. government was approached to fund the campaign by the Geneva Initiative founders. The founders are a group of leftists on all sides who drew up an unacceptable "peace" deal seven years ago, and have been trying to pimp it ever since. Since his inauguration, President Obama has been reaching out to fringe groups who say they are promoting peace, but in reality are simply supporting his disastrous middle east policy. Geneva Institute is one of those organizations, another was the pro-Hamas, J-Street.

Truth is, the Israeli Population has favored a two state solution, and the last Israeli Prime Minister that didn't support a two state solution was Rabin. So this is just wasted tax dollars brought to you by the same folks that brought you change you can believe in.
