Holy Cow !!! US "Apologizes" To China For Our "Lousy" Human Rights Record

The Obama Administration Apology tour continues. The past Friday, our diplomats sat down with China's diplomats to discuss Human Rights. We tried to push the Chinese to treat their citizens nicer. At the same time we acknowledged our own "lousy" human rights record including the recently passed Arizona immigration law. This is not a joke

The United States, one of the most free nations in the history of the world, apologized to  a country that allows families to one have only child and forcibly aborts others, a country that  systematically oppresses others, Tibet for example, crushes all opposition, where prisoners are routinely tortured, and we are apologizing to them for our human rights record.
Michael Posner, the assistant secretary of state, told reporters that another round will happen some time next year in Beijing. The countries also plan to hold talks on legal matters soon and he said he will participate in a high-profile economic and security summit in Beijing this month.
"In two days, we're not going to change major policies or major points of view, but we laid a foundation to continue," Posner said. "The tone of the discussions was very much, 'We're two powerful, great countries. We have a range of issues that we are engaged on. Human rights is part of that discussion, and it will remain so.'"

Posner said in addition to talks on freedom of religion and expression, labor rights and rule of law, officials also discussed Chinese complaints about problems with U.S. human rights, which have included crime, poverty, homelessness and racial discrimination.

He said U.S. officials did not whitewash the American record and in fact raised on its own a new immigration law in Arizona that requires police to ask about a person's immigration status if there is suspicion the person is in the country illegally.
You GOT to be kidding. Its bad enough that the progressives are roaming the country bashing a bill they never read. Now they are running to one of the most oppressive regimes in the word and APOLOGIZING for protecting themselves.

This is nothing more than disgusting continuation of the president's apology tour.  I will not apologize for American exceptionalism. There is no other country as free as the United States. Despite what the Obama administration thinks, you don't bring others up by dragging yourself down, that only creates mediocrity.

As described by Ronald Reagan, this exceptionalism is built into the very fabric of our democracy:
Ours was the first revolution in the history of mankind that truly reversed the course of government, and with three little words: "We the people." "We the people" tell the government what to do, it doesn't tell us. "We the people" are the driver, the government is the car. And we decide where it should go, and by what route, and how fast. Almost all the world's constitutions are documents in which governments tell the people what their privileges are. Our Constitution is a document in which "We the people" tell the government what it is allowed to do.
We have NOTHING to apologize for, with the exception of our presidential choice in 2008.
