Occupy CPAC Friday, February 3, 2012 (Metropolitan Washington Council, AFL-CIO)With workshops like “Return of Big Labor: What Can We Learn from Wisconsin & Ohio,” and “Taking back Wall Street: The Tea Party vs. Occupy Wall Street,” the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) descends on the nation’s capital February 9-11 and local labor activists are planning a DC lesson to ensure that the voice of the 99% are heard at this elite conservative gathering. Actions are currently being planned for noontime and after work on Friday, February 10. Featured speakers at CPAC include Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, and presidential candidates Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santorum. Not a surprising revelation for a union lead by Richard Trumpka a man who has made violence and even murder part of the union arsenal as he did in the Pittston Coal strike and the Murder of Eddie York, or even last year's takeover of the Wisconsin Capital building.
The reason Trumpka's goon squad is visiting CPAC is to shut-up all who disagree with the anti-American agenda of the labor movement (and President Obama).
If socialist, violent thug and head of the AFL-CIO Richard Trumka (who brags about being able to talk to the President a few times a week-more often than Congressional leaders), believes he can shut up conservatives with a few well-placed goons he has another thing coming.
They are fighting for a socialist/progressive political agenda, we are fighting to protect the future for our children or grandchildren. We will not be looking for a fight, but we will not be silenced either. This is not about politics, this is about our kids.
