Three New Damning Polls For Obama and the Dems: Rasmussen, Gallup and Another Quinnipiac

 Rasmussen, Gallup and Quinnipiac have all released polls this afternoon which indicate the continuing damage to the Democratic Party caused by the failed Obamacare launch.

Yesterday's Quinnipiac poll reported that President Obama's approval had reached an all-time low, another poll released today reported an equal number of voters, 39% reported they would vote for a Democrat in their Congressional district, and the same 39% reported they would vote for a Republican, this erases the 43% - 34% Democratic advantage in the poll Quinnipiac  took on the first day of the shut down, perhaps as important is the fact that independent voters shifted from 32% for Democrats and 30% for Republicans October 1 to 37% -26% Republican advantage today.

In a much too early look at the 2016 presidential campaign, 43% of American voters back New Jersey Governor, Chris Christie while 42 %  Hillary Clinton, very different than the results of the NBC poll released yesterday showing Clinton with a wide lead.
Ms. Clinton has leads of nine points or more against other possible Republican contenders,

49 - 40 percent over U.S. Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky;
51 - 36 percent over U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas;
49 - 40 percent over U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin.
At the very least, this poll demonstrates that the damage to the GOP due to the government shutdown was short-lived, over shadowed by the horrible Obamacare introduction.

Other polls also reflected the damage to the Democratic party brought about by the Obamacare website problems and the President's "you can keep your insurance, period" lie.

Rasmussen's latest figures include 20% who Strongly Approve of the way Obama is performing as president and 45% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -25. This is the president’s lowest daily job approval rating in over two years. The last time his daily rating was this low was on August 31, 2011.
According to Rasmussen, on October 1st, 30% of voters strongly approved of the way he was performing and 37% strongly disapproved, giving him an approval index of only -7.

Gallup is reporting another of President Obama's numbers turning upside down. A just released report shows for the first time in his presidency, fewer than half of Americans, 47%, say Obama is a "strong and decisive leader," down six percentage points since September.

Put it all together it means the failed introduction of the website and especially the Presidential lie is really damaging both the Democratic and Barack Obama brands.  But the GOP should be very careful,  six weeks ago these numbers were very different and they can be very different six weeks from now.
