Palestinian TV Net Controlled by "Moderate" Fatah Inciting JEW Hatred

Probably the biggest lie told about the Middle East conflict is that Fatah, the political party/terrorist organization controlled by P.A. President Abbas is a moderate organization. There is only one difference between Hamas the terrorist group that control's Gaza, and Fatah,the terrorist group perceived as moderate that controls Judea and Samaria. Hamas is open about it terrorist goals, Fatah tries to maintain a shroud of "moderation" to the outside world. Of course their moderation belies the truth, they continue to support terrorism and continue to teach their residents to hate all Jewish people, not just Israelis.

"Fatah is facing a challenge, because [Fatah] says that we perceive peace as one of the strategies, but we say that all forms of the struggle exist, and we do not rule out the possibility of the armed struggle or any other struggle. The struggle exists in all its forms, on the basis of what we are capable of at a given time, and according to what seems right...

What exactly do we want? It has been said that we are negotiating for peace, but our goal has never been peace. Peace is a means; and the goal is Palestine. I do not negotiate in order to achieve peace. I negotiate for Palestine, in order to achieve a state."

It should be noted that when Fatah refers to "Palestine", it is routinely referring to all of Israel.

• The Fatah flag still shows the map of Israel under rifles. The same symbol (see right) appears on the Fatah website (http://www.fateh.ps) and other official Fatah publications.

• Fatah MP Najat Abu-Bakr said in a PA TV interview last year that Fatah's goal remains the destruction of Israel, but that their political plan is to focus on the West Bank and Gaza Strip:

"It doesn't mean that we don't want the 1948 borders [all of Israel]...but our current political program is to say that we want the 1967 borders." [PA TV, Aug. 25 2008].

To help them achieve their goal, they are doing their best to teach the next generation hatred, not Just for Israel, and her soldiers, but for all Jews. 

Below are two interviews from the Fatah controlled Palestinian TV (Source Palestinian Media Watch)  One interview is with the  young sister of a prisoner serving a 13-month sentence, the PA TV host asked the girl if the Israeli soldiers bother the family when they visit her brother in prison. When the girl agreed, the host added: "They're wild animals, right? Aren't they wild animals?"

In another episode, the same host interviewed the four-year old son of a prisoner serving a 15-year sentence. She asked who imprisoned his father, and the boy answered, "The Jews." As in the other interview, the host prompted the child: "The Jews are our enemies, right?" The boy nodded in response.


It is worth noting that the boy did not say that "Israelis" imprisoned his father, but specified that it was "the Jews."

Following are the transcripts of excerpts of the interviews:


PA TV host Manal Seif interviews the young sister of prisoner Qussai Husam Radwan, who was sentenced to 13 months in prison:
Host: "Do they bother you, the Israeli army, the soldiers there [when visiting at the prison]?"
Girl: "Yes."
Host: "They're wild animals, right? Aren't they wild animals?"

PA TV host Manal Seif interviews the four-year old son of prisoner Shadi Shbeita, who was sentenced to 15 years in prison:
Host: "Ibrahim, you know - you're cute and sweet. You have a nice shirt and nice pants. You're cool. Where's Daddy? Where's Daddy? Daddy Shadi - where is he? Where is Daddy Shadi?"
Boy: "In prison."
Host: "Who put him in prison? Who is it that put him in prison?"
Boy: "The Jews."
Host: "The Jews are our enemies, right?"
[Boy nods in agreement.]

Teaching hatred of Jews is a regular occurrence on PA TV, the following is from a religious broadcast on the Fatah-controlled network:

"Bringing up children with fear, anxiety and panic, scaring them when they cry -once by mentioning a monster, another time a scarecrow or a thief, and some other time a Jew, a demon, or the sound of the wind and other things, in order to silence them. Then the child grows up as a coward."

Muslims across the world get insulted with terms such as War on Islamic Terrorists, Islamofacists, etc. Yet at the same time they are perfectly content that Palestinian propaganda targets JEWS not Israelis. Personally either one is wrong, because all they are really doing is perpetuating the hatred that, while keeping the "moderate" Fatah in power, dooms the next generation to continued war instead of a hope for peace.
