No-Go Zones...Yes They Exist (But Jindal And Emerson Failed To Explain Correctly)

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has brought criticism upon himself with his recent comments about "no-go zones," areas in Europe where even the police do not go for fear of conflict with the local radicalized Muslim community. Jindal made the mistake of bringing up the topic at a time when Fox News was apologizing for using the term inappropriately.

Over the weekend Fox News anchors apologized no less than four times for what a guest said about the zones the prior week.

On her Jan. 10 program, Judge Jeanine Pirro had Steve Emerson on her show to speak about these zones. Emerson said

They’re sort of amorphous, they’re not contiguous necessarily, but they’re sort of safe havens. And they’re places where the governments, like France, Britain, Sweden, Germany — they don’t exercise any sovereignty so you basically have zones where Sharia courts are set up, where Muslim density is very intense, where police don’t go in.” Though Emerson claimed that this phenomenon plagued Europe very broadly, he zeroed in on Birmingham, England: “There are actual cities like Birmingham that are totally Muslim, where non-Muslims just simply don’t go in,” he said.

Emerson's mistake was going too broad. If he said parts of Birmingham rather than the entire city he would have made defensible argument. The mainstream media, intimidated into political correctness by a liberal run "PC Police" temporarily distracted from naming NFL Teams is quick to pounce on anyone using the term, and sloppiness by Emerson, and more recently Gov. Jindal have done much to put the concept of no-go zones into disfavor.

The Gateway Institute, run by former UN Ambassador John Bolton made a case about no-go zones in France and unlike Jindal and Emerson actually presented sourced arguments to show they really exist.

In October 2011, a 2,200-page report, "Banlieue de la République" (Suburbs of the Republic) found that Seine-Saint-Denis and other Parisian suburbs are becoming "separate Islamic societies" cut off from the French state and where Islamic Sharia law is rapidly displacing French civil law.

The report also showed how the problem is being exacerbated by radical Muslim preachers who are promoting the social marginalization of Muslim immigrants in order to create a parallel Muslim society in France that is ruled by Sharia law.

The television presenter asks: "What if we went to the suburbs?" Obertone replies: "I do not recommend this. Not even we French dare go there anymore. But nobody talks about this in public, of course. Nor do those who claim, 'long live multiculturalism,' and 'Paris is wonderful!' dare enter the suburbs."

The report explains that "No-go zones are Muslim-dominated neighborhoods that are largely off limits to non-Muslims due to a variety of factors, including the lawlessness and insecurity that pervades a great number of these areas. Host-country authorities have effectively lost control over many no-go zones and are often unable or unwilling to provide even basic public aid, such as police, fire fighting and ambulance services, out of fear of being attacked by Muslim youth."

Most important (at least for those who believe there is a war on terror), those no-go zones are incubators for breeding radical Islamists.

Despite such politically correct denials, Muslim no-go zones are a well-known fact of life in many parts of Europe.

(...)Fabrice Balanche, a well-known French Islam scholar who teaches at the University of Lyon, recently told Radio Télévision Suisse: "You have territories in France such as Roubaix, such as northern Marseille, where police will not step foot, where the authority of state is completely absent, where mini Islamic states have been formed."

French writer and political journalist Éric Zemmour recently told BFM TV: "There are places in France today, especially in the suburbs, where it is not really in France. Salafi Islamists are Islamizing some neighborhoods and some suburbs. In these neighborhoods, it's not France, it's an Islamic republic." In a separate interview, Zemmour — whose latest book is entitled, "The French Suicide" — says multiculturalism and the reign of politically correct speech is destroying the country.

French politician Franck Guiot wrote that parts of Évry, a township in the southern suburbs of Paris, are no-go zones where police forces cannot go for fear of being attacked. He said that politicians seeking to maintain "social peace" were prohibiting the police from using their weapons to defend themselves.

The Socialist mayor of Amiens, Gilles Demailly, has referred to the Fafet-Brossolette district of the city as a "no-go zone" where "you can no longer order a pizza or get a doctor to come to the house." Europe 1, one of the leading broadcasters in France, has referred to Marseille as a "no-go zone" after the government was forced to deploy riot police, known as CRS, to confront warring Muslim gangs in the city. The French Interior Ministry said it was trying to "reconquer" 184 square kilometers (71 square miles) of Marseille that have come under the control of Muslim gangs.

The French newspaper Le Figaro has referred to downtown Perpignan as a "veritable no-go zone" where "aggression, antisocial behavior, drug trafficking, Muslim communalism, racial tensions and tribal violence" are forcing non-Muslims to move out. Le Figaro also reported that the Les Izards district of Toulouse was a no-go zone, where Arab drug trafficking gangs rule the streets in a climate of fear.

Separately, Le Figaro reported that large quantities of assault rifles are circulating in French no-go zones. "For a few hundred dollars you can buy Kalashnikovs," political scientist Sebastian Roché said. "The price of an iPhone!"

The newspaper France Soir published poll results showing that nearly 60% of French citizens are in favor of sending the army into troubled suburbs to restore order.

The newspaper Le Parisien has called parts of Grigny, a township in the southern suburbs of Paris, a "lawless zone" plagued by well-organized Muslim gangs, whose members believe they are "masters of the world." The weekly newsmagazine Le Point reported on the spiraling Muslim lawlessness in the French city of Grenoble.

The French magazine L'Obs (formerly known as Le Nouvel Observateur) has reported on the deteriorating security situation in Roubaix, a city in northern France that is located close to the Belgian border. The magazine reported that local citizens are "exiled within their own country" and want to create their own militia to restore order because police are afraid to confront Muslim gangs.

In August 2014, the French magazine Valeurs Actuelles (Contemporary Values) reported that "France has more than 750 areas of lawlessness" where the law of the French Republic no longer applies. Under the headline "Hell in France," the magazine said that many parts of France are experiencing a "dictatorship of riffraff" where police are "greeted by mortar fire" and are "forced to retreat by projectiles."

Separately, Valeurs Actuelles reported on the lawlessness in Trappes, a township located in the western suburbs of Paris, where radical Islam and endemic crime go hand in hand. "Criminals are pursued by Islamic fundamentalists to impose an alternative society, breaking links with the French Republic," according to local police commander Mohammed Duhan. It is not advisable to go there, he says, adding, "You will be spotted by so-called chauffeurs (lookouts for drug traffickers) and be stripped and smashed."

Valeurs Actuelles has also reported on no-go zones in Nantes, Tours and Orléans, which have turned into "battlefields" where the few remaining native French holdouts are confronted with "Muslim communalism, the disappearance of their cultural references and rampant crime."

The Top Ten Anti-Semitic/Anti-Israel Incidents of 2014

Calling this year one of “unprecedented explosions of anti-Semitic and anti-Israel hatred,” the Simon Wiesenthal Center released its list of the top Anti-Semitic and Anti-Israel incidents in the world during the past 12 months. An eerie reminder of the hatred building across the world eighty years ago, most of the incidents described took place in European countries ranging from Belgium to Hungary. Arguably the number one organization protecting Jews against Anti-Semitism across the world, The Wiesenthal Center believes these ten examples are tragically indicative of burgeoning threats and challenges to the Jewish people not encountered since the end of WWII. Their list was good, but it only told part of the story.

The number one incident was the outrageous story of a doctor in the Belgian city of Antwerp who refused to treat a 90 year-old Jewish woman who’d broken a rib. He told the woman’s son who had called in her behalf, “Send her to Gaza for a few hours, then she will get rid of the pain. I’m not coming,” he said and hung up.

Earlier in the year, a shop in Antwerp refused to serve a woman because she was Jewish, and a café in Liège has a sign hung with the message ‘Dogs welcome, Jews not.”

The center also pointed out that Belgium was the site of the deadliest attack on a Jewish target this year, when a terrorist murdered four people during a gun attack at the Jewish Museum in Brussels in May.

Second on the list was the Jordanian Parliament, which held a moment of silence for the Palestinian who butchered four Rabbis during Shachariet prayers in a Shul in Jerusalem’s Har Nof neighborhood and also killed the Druze policeman who tried to protect them.

“I ask God to envelop them with mercy and to grant you with patience, comfort and recovery from your grief…” wrote Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour to the families of the terrorists.”

Third was one of the many Anti-Semitic incidents in France. In December, criminals forced their way into an apartment in the Paris suburb of Creteil, they tied up a young, Jewish man and woman. “Tell us where you hide the money,” one of the assailants demanded, “You Jews always have money,” as they ransacked the house and raped the 19-year-old woman.”

According to French Interior Minister Cazeneuve, it was a hate crime; he confirmed the “anti-Semitic nature (of the attack)…” adding that the criminals “Started with the idea that being Jewish means having money.”

It was a particularly violent year for Jew-hatred in France. A recent poll revealed that things have gotten so bad 74% of France's Jewish population have contemplated leaving the country to escape Anti-Semitism and to "preserve their Judaism."

Moving to Germany for the next incident, the Wiesenthal Center related the incident, which took the day after commemoration of the anniversary of Kristallnacht. The Left party invited notorious Anti-Semites and Israel-bashers, Max Blumenthal and David Sheen to present one of their “expert talks” in the Party’s meeting room in the Bundestag.
Blumenthal Jew-hatred casts Zionism as racism and he likes to paint Israel with Nazi imagery. “That was too much for top party leader Gregor Gysi who canceled the usage of the Party’s meeting room. The incident came to be known as “Toiletgate” because Gysi was forced to barricade himself in a bathroom to escape the wrath of Blumenthal and Sheen.”

Turkish columnist, Faruk Köse, published in Yeni Akit, a newspaper close to the Erdogan government, that the Turkish government levy a special tax on the country’s Jews and any Jews who do business in the country as a way to pay reparations to the people of Gaza after Operation Protective Edge. Köse also demanded as punishment for a failure to pay a Jew’s business license should be revoked and his property seized. There was no mention of the Hamas terrorism that provoked Israel to attack Gaza and eliminate the threat against her population.

Other incidents listed included the demand by the leader of the extreme right-wing Sweden Democrats, Björn Söder, that Jews must give up their Jewish identity in order to be considered full Swedes, the hanging of effigies of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin by the anti-Semitic mayor of Erpatek in Hungary, and the growing support for the Anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement in U.S. academic circles, and the murder of three people at the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park Kansas

Not mentioned by the SWC was the blood libel of the mainstream media during the Gaza War claiming that Israel wasn’t doing everything possible to avoid civilian casualties while ignoring Hamas’ use of human shields and President Obama’s stance that Jews were not allowed to purchase homes from Arabs in East Jerusalem, or the Anti-Semitism which runs rampant among the broadcasters at MSNBC.

The summer of 2014 saw Anti-Semitic rallies and protest across Europe and the United States, synagogues, Jewish institutions, and people were attacked in the name of supporting Hamas and the people of Gaza. Even in the Governments of Europe, the terrorist records of Anti-Israel organizations such as the Muslim Brotherhood and Hezbollah were ignored, as were the incitement of hatred by the supposedly moderate Fatah and Palestinian Authority. Qatar a country charged with funding the terrorist Hamas became a more important ally to the west. Even the US government Middle East negotiator Martin Indyk was revealed to be on the payroll of the terrorist-funding Qatar. And as the year drew to a close, the Obama Administration used a willing Jew writing for The Atlantic as a tool to scapegoat the Prime Minister of the Jewish State, or as they called him “chicken sh*t.”

Sadly 2014 was a year of increasing acceptance of Jew-hatred and Israel hatred in the mainstream media, at the top levels of government across the world and in the social fabric of polite society.

Incredible Shrinking Goats: The Latest Addition To The Official Stupid Things People Blame On Global Warming List

Global warming proponents have blamed the collapse of gingerbread houses in Sweden to UFO sightings in the UK on the climate change hypothesis. The latest example offered up to scare people into believing that global warming is set to kill us all is that certain Alpine goats appear to be shrinking in size.

According to a study by England's Durham University, Chamois a species of mountain goat, now weigh about 25 per cent less than animals of the same age in the 1980s.

Body size declines attributed to climate change are widespread in the animal kingdom, with many fish, bird and mammal species getting smaller," study author Tom Mason, a biologist at England's Durham University, explained in a recent press release. "However the decreases we observe here are astonishing. The impacts on Chamois weight could pose real problems for the survival of these populations.

(...) We know that Chamois cope with hot periods by resting more and spending less time searching for food, and this may be restricting their size more than the quality of the vegetation they eat," study co-author Stephen Willis said. "If climate change results in similar behavioral and body mass changes in domestic livestock, this could have impacts on agricultural productivity in coming decades."

Despite the fear mongering this study originally published in the journal Frontiers in Zoology did not find that global warming is causing smaller goats. It simply finds that these mountain goats aren't as big as they were 30 years ago. The scientists claim it is a result of global warming but they do not present research proving linkage between the two.

There are also issues with the research itself, specially the way they got their data. The scientists didn't weigh the goats by taking their bathroom scales or some equivalent up to the mountains and asking the Chamois to step on. They received their data from checking the records of hunters who have shot goats. They didn't even weigh the deceased nannies and bucks they just used the claims of hunters, assumed that all the scales were calibrated the same and that technology hasn't changed the scale in the past 30 years.

Another problem with the scientists' claim is that people have been over-harvesting of older male Chamois goats, leaving a higher concentration of smaller younger animals.

If the researchers were being truthful they would admit there's no scientific link between the shrinking goats and global warming.

Denmark May Make Bestiality Illegal (It Isn't Against Law Already?)

This gets filed under the file  "so weird I just had to share." After an unsettling rise in animal sex tourism, Denmark is making a move to ban bestiality, according to the NY Daily News:

The country's food and agriculture minister said he planned to amend its Animal Welfare Act next year to officially make it a crime to have sex with animals.

"I have decided that we should ban sex with animals," Minister of Food and Agriculture Dan Jørgensen told a Danish newspaper, according to Britain's The Independent.

Neighboring countries like Norway, Sweden and Germany have issued similar bans in the past few years.

Jørgensen said the move was out of concern for both helpless animals and Denmark's reputation.

The country was prominently featured in a documentary by Brooklyn-based VICE Media earlier this year exploring the European sex trade.

"The most important is that in the vast majority of cases it is an attack against the animals," he told the newspaper, Ekstra Bladet.

"And under all circumstances, any doubts about it should go to the animals' benefit. They naturally cannot say no to going along with it," he added.

A recent poll showed 76% of Danes supported the ban, The Independent said.

Two more things...why wasn't this law before? And whats with the 24% who don't agree with the law.

Latest Climate Idiocy: Global Warming Created ISIS

In recent weeks the Obama administration has blamed President Bush and/or the intelligence community for the creation of ISIS, others have blamed President Obama and his reluctance to get involved in another Middle East conflict, but apparently both positions are wrong. According to a recent article in the Huffington Post, the reason why ISIS was able to form and grow so fast was global warming (note: do not check your calendar it's September not April fools day they really believe this).

The authors of the piece; Charles B. Strozier Professor of History, The City University of New York; and Kelly A. Berkell Attorney and research associate, Center on Terrorism at John Jay College of Criminal Justice believe that ISIS formed because of a severe drought in Syria from 2006-2010 and that drought happened because of---you guessed it---Climate Change.

As the Obama administration undertakes a highly public, multilateral campaign to degrade and destroy the militant jihadists known as ISIS, ISIL and the Islamic State, many in the West remain unaware that climate played a significant role in the rise of Syria's extremists. A historic drought afflicted the country from 2006 through 2010, setting off a dire humanitarian crisis for millions of Syrians. Yet the four-year drought evoked little response from Bashar al-Assad's government. Rage at the regime's callousness boiled over in 2011, helping to fuel the popular uprising. In the ensuing chaos, ISIS stole onto the scene, proclaimed a caliphate in late June and accelerated its rampage of atrocities including the recent beheadings of three Western civilians.

While ISIS threatens brutal violence against all who dissent from its harsh ideology, climate change menaces communities (less maliciously) with increasingly extreme weather.

The drought that preceded the current conflict in Syria fits into a pattern of increased dryness in the Mediterranean and Middle East, for which scientists hold climate change partly responsible. Affecting 60 percent of Syria's land, drought ravaged the country's northeastern breadbasket region; devastated the livelihoods of 800,000 farmers and herders; and knocked two to three million people into extreme poverty. Many became climate refugees, abandoning their homes and migrating to already overcrowded cities. They forged temporary settlements on the outskirts of areas like Aleppo, Damascus, Hama and Homs. Some of the displaced settled in Daraa, where protests in early 2011 fanned out and eventually ignited a full-fledged war.

Although I am not a climate scientist (actually neither are the authors) it is easy to strike down their theory, both from a political and a scientific point of view:

• ISIS did not form in Syria it formed in Iraq. In fact one of the reasons each party has been able to blame the other for the rise of the terrorist group is that ISIS used to be al Qaeda in Iraq. They were thrown out of the Bin Laden group because the ISIS leaders did not play nice with the al Qaeda leaders.  

• Perhaps the single most important factor in ISIS' recent resurgence is the conflict between Iraqi Shias and Iraqi Sunnis. ISIS fighters themselves are Sunnis, and the tension between the two groups is a powerful recruiting tool for ISIS. The Shia government of Iraq refused to share power with the Sunnis (who held power under Saddam Hussein). The Shia/Sunni fight began as a fight over who got to take power after the Prophet Muhammad's death and has been going on for almost 1400 years--way before ISIS.

• Most observers believe ISIS was able to grow because American troops pulled out of Iraq too early and didn't help out in Syria until it was too late.  Unless the drought happened in Washington DC, it couldn't have had any influence on the President's decision.

•  Droughts? science that states there has been no increase in droughts world-wide. In other words if you believe the world is going to hell in a hand basket due to global warming, that climate change is not increasing the number of droughts in in the world.
  

"It is misleading and just plain incorrect to claim that disasters associated with hurricanes, tornadoes, floods or droughts have increased on climate timescales either in the United States or globally,” Professor Roger Pielke Jr. said in his testimony before the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.

In May of 2014 Professor Pielke  published a graph that shows the intensity of the planet's droughts from 1982 to 2012. The graph shows that neither droughts nor their intensity have seen a growth trend during that 30-year period.

• It's not getting warmer. Its incredible that almost every day the global warming hoaxers come up with another example of how the earth is being destroyed due to their hypothesis like the one being explored here. The truth is as of Sept. 1 the Earth hasn't warmed in the last 17 years and 11 months (new numbers, through October 1will be out in a few days). Another way to look at it is the warming stopped approximately ten years before the drought in Syria...making it difficult for there to be a connection.

It is interesting that the authors contend "ISIS threatens brutal violence against all who dissent from its harsh ideology" which is true, ISIS not only threaten violence but they follow through with their threats. Also true is that the climate change proponents threaten violence. Thankfully they do not follow through with it, but they do attack people who question their unproven hypothesis as science haters and deniers of truth. Perhaps if they examined the facts instead of desperately trying to prove their hypothesis true climate change enthusiasts would realize the holes in their arguments.

The 3/5 Compromise Was NOT An Indication The Founding Fathers Were Racist

During a twitter debate about gun control yesterday I pointed out that the right to own a gun was in the constitution and received the following response:

@yidwithlid Didn't the constitution also say black people were 3/5ths of a person and women couldn't vote? Read it and get back to me.

That tweeter holds the same view that many in the progressive world believe, that our founding fathers were racist. As proof they point to Article 1, Section 2, Paragraph 3 of the United States Constitution:

“ Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons.”

To the liberals the 3/5th figure is an indication that our founding fathers were a bunch of racists who thought that the African Slaves were less than human.

The truth is that it was the framers of the constitution from the northern anti-slavery colonies who insisted on counting the slaves as less than “full persons.” Their reason was to prevent the slave states from getting too many congressman and electoral votes lest they become too powerful and prevent Slavery from ever being abolished.

The Slave states wanted their slaves to be counted as a full person so they could dominate the House of Representatives and the Presidency. Those states reliant on slavery for their economy would have the benefit of counting the slaves for census reasons and control the political power of their large numbers as the slaves were not allowed to vote.

The Northern States did not want them counted at all, to prevent the south from getting too powerful. The “three fifths of all other Persons” refers to the slave population as a whole, it was not an indication of a belief that people of color had only 60% of the "value" of Caucasians.

For those of you who took American History in high school, you might remember that the Three-Fifths Compromise, was originally  proposed by Roger Sherman of Connecticut, and James Wilson of Pennsylvania.

The Federalist papers show the mindset of the founding fathers were not in favor of the continuation of Slavery, but were instead trying to wean their Southern brethren away from Slavery.


For example in Federalist  #38 Madison justified the constitutional provision allowing slave trading for 20 years because it was an improvement:

Is the importation of slaves permitted by the new Constitution for twenty years? By the old, it is permitted forever.

In Federalist #42 he says

It were doubtless to be wished, that the power of prohibiting the importation of slaves had not been postponed until the year 1808, or rather that it had been suffered to have immediate operation. But it is not difficult to account, either for this restriction on the general government, or for the manner in which the whole clause is expressed. It ought to be considered as a great point gained in favor of humanity, that a period of twenty years may terminate forever, within these States, a traffic which has so long and so loudly upbraided the barbarism of modern policy; that within that period, it will receive a considerable discouragement from the federal government, and may be totally abolished, by a concurrence of the few States which continue the unnatural traffic, in the prohibitory example which has been given by so great a majority of the Union. Happy would it be for the unfortunate Africans, if an equal prospect lay before them of being redeemed from the oppressions of their European brethren! Attempts have been made to pervert this clause into an objection against the Constitution, by representing it on one side as a criminal toleration of an illicit practice, and on another as calculated to prevent voluntary and beneficial emigrations from Europe to America. I mention these misconstructions, not with a view to give them an answer, for they deserve none, but as specimens of the manner and spirit in which some have thought fit to conduct their opposition to the proposed government.

Ben Franklin,  freed his slaves and was a key founder of the Pennsylvania Anti-Slavery Society. Alexander Hamilton was opposed to slavery and, with John Jay and other anti-slavery advocates, helped to found the first African free school in New York City. Jay helped to found the New York Manumission (literally voluntary freeing of slaves) Society and, when he was governor of New York in 1798, signed into law the state statute ending slavery as of 1821.

When Constitution signer William Livingston heard of the New York  Manumission society he, as Governor of New Jersey, wrote them, offering:

“I would most ardently wish to become a member of it [the society in New York] and… I can safely promise them that neither my tongue, nor my pen, nor purse shall be wanting to promote the abolition of what to me appears so inconsistent with humanity and Christianity… May the great and the equal Father of the human race, who has expressly declared His abhorrence of oppression, and that He is no respecter of persons, succeed a design so laudably calculated to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke.”

Washington was a paradox, he was a slave owner hated slavery (actually he married rich and the slaves were originally owned by his wife).

“I can only say that there is not a man living who wishes more sincerely than I do to see a plan adopted for the abolition of it [slavery].”-George Washington

Washington’s successor John Adams did not own slaves and hated the Practice:

“[M]y opinion against it [slavery] has always been known… [N]ever in my life did I own a slave.”-John Adams

When examining the three-fifths compromise, one must remember that the Constitution itself was a counter-revolution. It's authors were sent to Philadelphia to amend the articles of confederation instead they met in secret, locked themselves into a room and came out with an entirely new governmental system.  Without the three-fifths compromise the counter-revolution would have failed and there would be a much different, probably much less free America today.

This is not to justify slavery or the fact that it lasted another eighty years after the constitution was enacted. Slavery will always be a horrible chapter in American History,  but the three-fifths compromise was not. The three-fifths clause was not a measurement of human worth; it was an attempt to reduce the number of pro-slavery proponents in Congress. By including only three-fifths of the total numbers of slaves into the congressional calculations, Southern states were actually being denied additional pro-slavery representatives in Congress and electoral votes for selecting the president.

As for the women, this does not make it correct but at the time the constitution was written no nation in the world allowed women to vote. The first country allowing woman's suffrage was New Zealand in 1893. Most nations including Britain, Spain, France, Italy, Japan, Sweden,India etc., didn't allow women to vote until after the U.S. in 1920.

Now if we could only count progressives as three-fifths of a person for census purposes.

Woman Severely Beaten For Wearing A Jewish Star In Sweden

In the latest incident in the growing anti-Semitism across Europe, Ana Syorgen, a resident of Gottsunda, Sweden, was attacked in her home town by a group of Muslims for wearing a necklace with a Star of David.

According to Israeli news site NRG, Syorgen was walking in a neighborhood with a large population of Muslims when a Muslim girl noticed she was wearing a Jewish Star, then cursed her and spat in her face. "I got very angry and pushed her," said Syorgen.

Later she described that someone threw a sharp object at her face. “I think these were the people standing next to her, I am not sure. It all happened so fast.” Syorgen claims that there were ten witnesses of the assault in the area. “All ten saw what had happened and they were wearing Hijabs or scarves with Palestinian colors. They all claim ‘she tripped and fell’, that nobody hurt me, that I fell – it is simply incredible.” Syorgen sustained injuries to all her body, especially to her face: her jaw was severely hurt and her eyes were swollen.

Before we reached the hospital, one of the attackers signaled to me ‘shut up or we will kill you’” she says in fright, “At this moment I don’t know what to do. If I do not turn to the police – they have won, but if I do speak to the police, nothing will happen anyway, since I did not see who had hit me, and all the witnesses say that ‘I tripped.’ The worse thing is that they will get my name and address."

According to a friend who spoke to the media, Ms Syorgen's injuries have left her unable to speak or see. She should recover, but the friend added:

She has not yet gone to the police because she is afraid. It is simply an absurd that we have reached such a state in Sweden, a country in which I grew, that you cannot turn to the police for fear of getting hurt.

Something the attackers probably did not know is that Syorgen is organizing a rally of solidarity with Israel in September, something she has been promoting every day. She referred to the subject on her Facebook page, where she wrote, “There are days when the Star of David is more significant. I will never remove it, no matter what happens.” When surfers encouraged her, she responded: “I will stand proud for Israel. I will never agree to be silenced. Am Israel Chai (Long live the nation of Israel). We will not forget and not forgive."

Terrorist Buzz? Vibrating Sex Toy In Carry-On Causes Evacuation of SAS Flight

Something new may soon be added to the "no fly" list. A Scandinavian Air (SAS) flight from Sweden to Croatia was delayed over the weekend for technical reasons (actually it was delayed for electronic reasons). It seemed that something was making a humming noise in somebody's luggage, and the flight had to be delayed until the culprit was found: a young lady's very loud, pulsating sex toy.​

The passengers who had already boarded were moved of the plane and into the hallway while guards brought the suspicious bag of the plane.

As reported by the Copenhagen Post:

To make matters worse for the bag’s owner, she was forced, in front of her rather bemused co-passengers, to remove the batteries from the device, which had been vibrating away, alerting airport security.

“Some of the passengers sighed, but most thought it was amusing,” Amanda, 20, the most embarrassed woman on the plane in question, told Metroxpress Sweden. "The worst thing was that the guy who came with the suitcase was really delicious."

Henrik Edström, a spokesperson for SAS in Sweden, confirmed that the plane had been delayed, but couldn’t provide a reason, as the plane had only been delayed for a short period of time.

Edström, who hadn’t heard of a similar case before, maintained that vibrating dildos delaying planes were not a common occurrence on SAS flights.

And for SAS passengers that is a good thing.

Metroxpress Sweden who first covered the story reports that Amanda tweeted about the incident, and it has created a big reaction. She reported that most people who saw her tweet made it a favorite or at least retweeted to their contacts. In Sweden, where the story has gone viral with more than 20,000 shares, some said it was too much to tell the story to the press.

"I do not think it's been embarrassing afterwards. It was embarrassing when I had to pull it [the dildo] out. Now I just think it's funny. I'm very free-spirited and do not really embarrass much,"says Amanda.

The 20-year-old mother also keeps track of how many times the article being shared, but Amanda is not sure whether her father read the story yet.

"I have not heard anything about, but it will be interesting to see his reaction too, says Amanda, who does not think he will find it particularly amusing."

As you might imagine based on the contents of her luggage, the 20-year-old Amanda was traveling by herself.

The Top Seven Lies Global Warming Alarmists Tell About Their Theory

According to the proponents of the theory, global warming is settled science. Much of the time they point to certain "facts" and use them to scare us, they tell us we must "believe," and that we are all going to die very soon if we don't kill the economy ASAP.   Below are seven of those so called important "facts"  (one for every day of the week) that these global warming enthusiasts are pushing on the American people, that just so happen to be lies:

1) 97% of Scientists Agree: The 97% figure is a misquote of a flawed study. The study people use to come up with the 97%, "Quantifying the consensus on anthropogenic global warming in the scientific literature" by John Cook, and friends, First of all the real result was 97% of the scientific papers which had an opinion one way or the other believed in global warming. A more extensive examination of the Cook study reported that out of the nearly 12,000 scientific papers Cook’s team evaluated, only 65 endorsed Cook’s alarmist position. That's about 0.5%. Other analysis demonstrates that some of the studies which disagreed with the global warming theory was mislabeled and 35% of the authors who took no position were left out of the final survey results altogether.
 
2) The Polar Ice caps are melting at record levels. Put away the SCUBA gear the world's coastlines are NOT going to be under any time soon. Antarctic sea ice has set a new record for May, with extent at the highest level since measurements began in 1979. At the end of the month, it expanded to 12.965 million sq km, beating the previous record of 12.722 million sq km set in 2010. This year’s figure is 10.3% above the 1981-2010 climatological average of 11.749 million sq km. Arctic Ice had been lower than average but the total of the two has shown sea ice higher than normal. Even the Arctic sea ice is improving. Meteorologist Joe Bastardi reports For the first time in over a decade, the Arctic sea ice anomaly in the summer is forecast to be near or above normal for a time! While it has approached the normals at the end of the winter season a couple of times because of new ice growth, this signals something completely different – that multiyear growth means business – and it shows the theory on the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation (AMO) is likely to be on target. Once it flips, this red herring of climate panic will be gone. Global and Southern Hemisphere anomalies are already unmentionable since the former is well above normal and the latter is routinely busting daily records.

3) The Earth is Warming-In August 1996; the Atlanta Olympic ended; Netscape 3.0 was introduced to the internet; Bob Dole picked Jack Kemp as his Republican VP running mate; and the earth showed warming for the last time.  According too RSS satellite data, the global warming trend in the 17 years 9 years since September 1996 is zero. The 213 months without global warming represent more than half the 425-month satellite data record since January 1979.

 4) Global Warming is causing extreme weather-Even the UN's IPCC , acknowledged by global warming believers as the best climate change authority, rejects this whopper

...In its [IPCC] newly released Fifth Assessment Report, the panel backed away from connections between current droughts and climate change. As it noted: “Based on updated studies, AR4 conclusions regarding global increasing trends in drought since the 1970s were probably overstated,” and “there is not enough evidence at present to suggest more than low confidence in a global-scale observed trend in drought or dryness (lack of rainfall) since the middle of the 20th century.” The report states that “it is likely that the frequency and intensity of drought has … decreased in central North America and north-west Australia since 1950.

The new report delivers a similar verdict for other sorts of extreme weather: “There is low confidence in any long term increases in tropical cyclone activity … and low confidence in attributing global changes to any particular cause.” Any increased hurricane damages “have not been conclusively attributed to anthropogenic climate change; most such claims are not based on scientific attribution methods.” There is “low confidence” for trends on tornadoes, and “the evidence for climate driven changes in river floods is not compelling.

A study published in the July 2012 Journal of the American Meteorological Society concluded unequivocally there is no trend of stronger or more frequent storms which makes sense since there has been no warming for almost 18 years.

5) Global Warming is Causing Asthma. The warming alarmists complain (when it helps their case) that skeptics confuse climate and weather. Here is a case where the alarmists are confusing pollution with climate. Dirty air limited to a small geographic area (like the smog in LA) is not climate change. Nor does it require the same solutions.


6) CO2 causes global warming- Maybe Mother Nature is computer-phobic, it works in all their computer models but it is not working in real life. Today CO2 levels in the atmosphere are higher than they have been in recent history, certainly higher than any time since the industrial revolution, but there hasn't been warming in almost 18 years. During the medieval warming period 800-1400 C.E. it was hotter than it is today and CO2 levels were much lower than they are today.

7) The Hockey Stick: The term "hockey stick" was coined by the head of National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory, Jerry Mahlman, to describe the pattern of historical temperatures in the northern hemisphere (it kind of looks like a hockey stick on its side). The chart, created by Dr. Michael Mann (now at Penn State University) shows relatively stable temperatures until around 100 year ago when we see a spike up. It is one of the key pieces of information used to prove that global warming is about to destroy the world.
The  Chart became the center of the IPCC's argument that man-made global warming was real, even though (as memos released as part of the Climategate scandal revealed)  the CRU at the University of East Anglia , had serious problems with the Hockey Stick chart, but it was pushed through by the chart's creator Dr. Mann.

...there were two competing graphs – Mann's hockey stick and another, by Jones, Briffa and others. Mann's graph was clearly the more compelling image of man-made climate change. The other "dilutes the message rather significantly," said Folland. "We want the truth. Mike [Mann] thinks it lies nearer his result." Folland noted that "this is probably the most important issue to resolve in chapter 2 at present.

Briffa believed that the world's temperature heated up about 1,000 years ago (the Medieval Period) as much as they seemed to in the 1990s, and was upset that Mann's chart did not reflect that climate change. Even the co-creator of Mann's paper on the hockey stick began to walk way from it. That missing warming trend from 1,000 years ago has been criticized from many directions.

Another revelation of climate-gate was the tree samples were "cherry-picked to skew the study.  The famous Hockey stick is fudged. The scientists substituted a different kind of tree, who's rings would not show a medieval warming spell with temperatures much hotter than today. And it may be the cherry-picking of one kind of Siberian tree that Phil Jones of the CRU may have meant in the email which he talked about using Dr. Mann's "trick" to adjust the data

SCANDAL! Climate Scientists Suppressed Research Which Disagreed With Warming Theory

Global warming proponents are quick to accuse those who are skeptical of their theory as ignoring a scientific consensus. According to a front page story in the UK Times, that supposed consensus may have been built in part by suppressing research which disagrees with their global fear mongering.

The article tells the story of research completed by five climate experts rejected by one of the world's top academic journals after a reviewer privately complained that the study was “harmful” to the promotion of climate change theory. 

Lennart Bengtsson, a research fellow at the University of Reading and one of the authors of the study, said he suspected that intolerance of dis- senting views on climate science was preventing his paper from being published. “The problem we now have in the climate community is that some scientists are mixing up their scientific role with that of a climate activist,” he added.

When trying to prove a hypothesis scientists are supposed to be dispassionate, but as revealed in the Climategate emails and many times since,  global warming  proponants have abandoned their quest for scientific truth and replaced it with a skewed advocacy which prevents the truth being discovered. This is one more example.

Professor Bengtsson’s paper challenged the finding of the UN’s Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) that the global average temperature would rise by up to 4.5C if greenhouse gases in the atmosphere were allowed to double.

It suggested that the climate might be much less sensitive to greenhouse gases than had been claimed by the IPCC in its report last September, and recommended that more work be carried out “to reduce the underlying uncertainty”.

The five contributing scientists, from America and Sweden, submitted the paper to Environmental Research Letters, one of the most highly regarded journals, at the end of last year but were told in February that it had been rejected.

A scientist asked by the journal to assess the paper under the peer review process wrote that he strongly advised against publishing it because it was “less than helpful”.

The unnamed scientist concluded: “Actually it is harmful as it opens the door for oversimplified claims of ‘errors’ and worse from the climate skeptic s media side.”

In other words, the truth hurts our advocacy. Scientists should not have a global warming or a skeptic "side." According to the Oxford dictionary science is, The intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment. Notice there is nothing about suppressing the observations and experiments you don't like.

Professor Bengtsson resigned from the advisory board of Lord Lawson of Blaby’s climate skeptic think-tank this week after being subjected to what he described as McCarthy-style pressure from fellow academics.

Lord Lawson, the former Conservative chancellor, said that the pressure exerted by other climate scientists had been appalling and the comparison with McCarthyism was “fully warranted”.

And this study didn't even argue that climate change is happening, only that it is happening more slowly.

Professor Bengtsson, the former director of the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology in Hamburg, said he accepted that emissions would increase the global average temperature but the key question was how quickly.

He added that it was “utterly unacceptable” to advise against publishing a paper on the ground that the findings might be used by climate skeptics to advance their arguments. “It is an indication of how science is gradually being influenced by political views. The reality hasn’t been keeping up with the [computer] models. Therefore, if people are proposing to do major changes to the world’s economic system we must have much more solid information.”

Scientists from around the world sent messages of support to Professor Bengtsson. David Gee, a former geology professor at Uppsala University in Sweden, wrote: “The pressure on you from the climate community simply confirms the worst aspects of politicised science. I have been reprimanded myself for opposing the climate bandwagon, with its blind dedication to political ambitions.”

This article is really all about the supposed global warming consensus. The truth is there is no such thing as settled science in any area. By suppressing research that disagrees with their theory, the climate change establishment is damaging the reputation and very nature of science, a search for the truth.

Palestinian Authority Allocates $46 Million More For Terrorists In 2014 (Your Tax Dollars At Work)

Ever wonder what happens to all that money the U.S. and Europeans give to the Palestinians? Well this year for example the Palestinian Authority increased the amount allocated to pay terrorists by $46 million dollars.

While most Western countries have laws and regulations prohibiting support for terrorists or former terrorists. In spite of those laws and their opposition, these countries continue to fund the PA's general budget, thereby paying tens of millions of dollars to terrorists as salaries and other payments.

Last week, the PA announced that it will be giving an additional $46 million a year to released prisoners, a category which includes hundreds of murderers of civilians. Since the PA cannot cover its monthly budget payments without Western aid, these additional payments to terrorists will also be facilitated both directly and indirectly by Western donor money to the PA.

The official announcement was made by the PA Minister of Prisoners' Affairs Issa Karake, who said that the PA government has approved a regulation of the Prisoners' Law that "is concerned with improving conditions for released [prisoners]," a regulation whose "budget... has been estimated at 160 million shekels a year."

This 160 million shekels ($46 million) for terrorists, including mass murderers, is made possible by international donors. This was made clear in the PA Minister's announcement. He explained that the PA was not able to fund this financial support for released prisoners in 2013 because of its "large budget deficit," so it will only start in 2014:

"Karake noted that the government has acknowledged the importance of the regulation and the need to implement it according to the rules. However, due to the large budget deficit and the PA's financial situation, establishing the budget, which has been estimated at 160 million shekels a year, has been postponed until April [2014]." [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Feb. 6, 2014]

The PA did not cover its 2013 budget without hundreds of millions of dollars from Western donors, tens of millions of which went directly into the bank accounts of terrorists. Since there have been no reports of massive improvements in the PA economy freeing it of the need to receive Western aid to pay its budget, clearly the PA is counting on Western donor money to facilitate this $46 million to terrorists as well.

And as the video above demonstrates, the Palestinian leadership is proud of spending our tax dollars for terrorism.

Although the PA has rejected the European demand not to fund terrorists, neither the US, the UK, Holland, Norway, Sweden or any other donors have announced over the last year a cessation of funding for PA salaries or the PA general budget, from which the PA pays the terrorists. It is therefore not surprising that the PA continues to use donor money as it pleases against donor wishes. In addition to paying salaries to terrorists, the PA uses donor money to glorify terrorist murderers, propagate libels demonizing Israel, promote violence and spread Antisemitism among its people [see PMW documentation]. To this, the PA has added and additional $46 million payment to terrorists, which will be paid by Western taxpayers in 2014.

CLIMATE IDIOCY! Congressional Dems Says Climate Change Driving Women Into Prostitution

It's been a while but it is finally time to add to the official "Stupid Things Blamed on Global Warming/Climate Change" list.  An this one is a real doozy!   According to some Congressional Democrats, the non-existent man made climate change may be driving poor women into "transactional sex" for survival.

The resolution, from Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) and a dozen other Democrats, says the results of climate change include drought and reduced agricultural output. It says these changes can be particularly harmful for women.

"[F]ood insecure women with limited socioeconomic resources may be vulnerable to situations such as sex work, transactional sex, and early marriage that put them at risk for HIV, STIs, unplanned pregnancy, and poor reproductive health," it says.

Climate change could also add "workload and stresses" on female farmers, which the resolution says produce 60 to 80 percent of the food in developing countries.

The chances for regional conflict also increase with climate change, the resolution says, because changing weather patterns could lead to migration and refugee crises. It said these sorts of potential conflicts over land will have a disproportionate impact on "the most vulnerable populations including women."

More broadly, the resolution says climate change will hurt "marginalized" women, such as refugees, sexual minorities, adolescent girls, and women and girls with HIV. It also cites Hurricane Katrina as evidence of how climate change can affect women, noting that the storm displaced "over 83 percent of low-income, single mothers" in the region.

In a statement to The Hill, Lee said women are critically underrepresented in the development of climate change policy.

"My resolution will affirm the commitment to include and empower women in economic development planning and international climate change policies and practices," she said. "This will help communities adapt to climate impacts, and embark on a path towards clean and sustainable development."

The resolution calls on Congress to recognize the effects on women, and to use "gender-specific frameworks in developing policies to address climate change."

Here's the good news for Rep. Lee the worldwide temperature hasn't changed for over sixteen years, in fact some scientists are even predicting an ice age. Pehaps the Congresswoman from the State of California can change her argument to "woman are going into prostitution because the body heat is keeping them warm."
